Even though we are Christians we still struggle with poor body image. If you have been following us for a long time now you have seen our story over the years.
We came across something in our walk with the Lord recently and it has been really helping us with our body image struggles.
There is so much more we want to say about this topic and we are working on the side to share more videos on body image as Christians. So expect more to come!
In the meantime, we wanted to start with sharing the words that we personally sit with frequently, especially on those days when we feel like crap and where we catch ourselves still picking on our bodies.
We pray today’s motivational video is a source of encouragement for you no matter where you are with your body image knowing that God loves you deeply and wants to help you get through your body image struggles too. He wants to part of that journey.
Our inspiration came from Isaiah 64:8 (ESV)
But now, O Lord, you are our Father;
we are the clay, and you are our potter;
we are all the work of your hand.

Remember girls that we are created with different purposes for God’s glory. That when we all remember that we are imperfect, let Him be our Master… He will then mold us to be the person He wants us to be.
We have to TRUST IN GOD… in what He is doing in your life.
We share this to help you remember to be careful not to idolize your body as God is the only one worth praising and focusing on. Let His love shine through you.

We are all different, made unique for a reason, for a specific purpose.
There is no one else like you.
You are the only you that God has ever created. God made you be special, distinguished, and unique.
God is the potter and we are the clay.
He thinks you are so worthy that he died for you.
Trust in the potter’s hands. He knows what He is doing.
Our prayer is that you walk away with a new understanding of your beauty with God. That you are not a mistake. That you are made for a purpose and you are still alive showing you that God still has a plan for you. We pray that you seek Him more and see His faithful love for you.
He cares deeply for His creation which includes our dear sister in Christ!
