Our favorite family read aloud books

by purelytwins

I am so excited to share these books with you.

They are books we read as a family and loved them.

Plus I share one book that we did not really enjoy that much.

And at the end I share a new resource, an APP, we started using for audio books (plus it has other things too) that we have really been enjoying!

Must have read aloud books | Ages 5+

If you are looking for your next read aloud books I hope you check these books out.

And make sure you let me know your family’s favorite read aloud books.

Some of the books are on our Amazon store – https://www.amazon.com/shop/loriandmichelle (if you use our link we may receive a small commission. Thank you for your support of our content.)

Books mentioned:

Heartwood hotel series – our first book series and we really enjoyed them, and this book is not faith inspired, but we still like them and recommend them

Tumtum and Nutmeg – a cute series for young kids

Hobbit – a classic book

We hope to read more of J.R.R. Tolkien’s books

Wingfeather saga – loved the books, even had Michelle read them.

One day we plan to read them again. We also enjoy the show on Angel network for the books.

Brave books – a great resource to talk to kids about bigger topics.

My kids love them and the activities.

App – Sherwood entertainment (Wholesome entertainment library for kids. No more ads, no more propaganda just quality ebooks, audio books and videos.)

So far on the Sherwood app we have done the Audio books for The Green Ember series – and loving it.

I like that it has an option for audio or actually books there.

We have not watched much of the other entertainment on it.

And for the book we did not really enjoy was the Princess and the Goblin
