You don’t have to believe what we say on this matter around affirmations, even self-help things. But for us, this is what God revealed to us.

We still believe in saying nice positive things.

But like we said in the video you are not saying them to “gain” something like they teach in law of attraction.

Do we still believe in affirmations? What do we affirm now as Christians. Plus an important (& emotional) rant about beauty and message to parents!

What we discuss:

  • law of attraction
  • affirmations
  • positive talk – self-help
  • idolize ourselves
  • making you be your own god
  • affirm Godly things
  • negative thoughts and depression
  • Lori opening up about comments people made to Madison
  • beauty and message to parents
  • power of your words
  • remember who God is
  • God made me wrong
  • made for more – you never rest

We still think you should say – I am strong. I am beautiful.

And things like that.

But it is all rooted in Christ.

We affirm things God has said or promised in the Bible.

It is important for Christians to keep their mind positive and on God because the devil attacks our minds.

Let us know your thoughts below on affirmations – do you say them? what things do you affirm?

We hope hearing our stories gives you encouragement and inspiration to start reading the Bible and begin your relationship with the Lord.

We share this because we love you and deeply care about you.
