Deliciously crunchy and chocolaty granola. Decadent-sounding chocolate tahini granola that’s perfect for breakfast or any time of the day. It’s only made with 10 simple ingredients. Chocolate granola for breakfast? Yes!
Back when we were in high school we ate the granola from the brand called Heartland. Oh my! It was so good. We have so many wonderful memories eating that granola for breakfast before going off to class. Every now and then we crave it.
This got us thinking we need to make another granola recipe because making your own granola is super easy. And fun! Every time we make granola we forget how much we love it. Â We love enjoying granola with coconut yogurt and eating it right out of the mason jar.
We’ve been eating pretty much the same breakfast for 3 years now and this past week we’ve been chatting with our Purely Fit life sisters about how we are looking for a change. This chocolate granola has hit the spot! So, if you are in a breakfast rut like us then you’ll enjoy this new breakfast idea.
Today’s recipe is super easy and can be adapted to fit your liking and it contains chocolate. Win. Win.
Grain-free, gluten-free chocolate tahini breakfast granola
Let’s make this together..
We hope you enjoyed the video.
Make sure to share this chocolate tahini granola recipe with your granola loving friends.
A little healthier way to curb that sugary chocolate cereal craving with a little less of the refined sugars and made with wholesome ingredients.
We adore tahini, that’s no secret. We have it every day.
We really love the tahini in this recipe. Don’t worry if you aren’t a huge tahini fan. The finished granola doesn’t have a huge tahini taste but it just brings out the flavors of the other ingredients. It really blends nicely with cocoa and coconut.
This chocolate granola is something you’ll want to have in your kitchen for those slow moving mornings or for those days when you just need some chocolate to start the day.
Chocolate makes us happy, so why not start being happy in the morning.
Now tahini is not just for hummus or savory foods. Nope.
There are several reasons why we love tahini. For starters it is a great replacement for nut butter if you have a nut allergy or don’t want to always use nut butters.
It’s made from ground sesame seeds and is high in potassium, iron, calcium, protein, vitamin E and lots of B vitamins. Tahini, with its creamy, earthy, nutty flavor, is just as delicious in sweet dishes as it is in savory ones.
Still on the fence? Trust us, it’s the perfect pair with chocolate!!
Chocolate tahini granola for a quick and easy breakfast
If you like a really crispy granola, you can bake this for a bit longer…just watch it so it doesn’t burn!
You can replace the maple syrup with any liquid sweetener of choice.
You can replace the walnuts with any nut or another seed if you want to keep it nut free.
