I (Lori) am back with more resources for kids and growing their relationship with Jesus.
I love finding new ways to help my kids know Jesus and continue to have a Christ-centered home.
I came across this table basket from Phylicia Masonheimer.
Side note: She has been a big influence on our walk with Christ. We highly recommend her.
In Phylicia’s book, Raising Tiny Disciples, which I bought she mentioned in there.
So here I am sharing how I do my table basket and in the video, I also share with you a few real life examples of me doing the morning basket with my kids.

I bought all these products with my own money.
I am so grateful for these other moms who have created these products as they have been a blessing to our house.
They are fun and a simple way to engage in conversations about God and say prayers.
I don’t know about you, but sometimes it can be hard for me to get my kids to sit and listen, so having this basket on the kitchen table is key.
While they eat, I talk and then we discuss.
All the things on the cards are short so it doesn’t take a lot of time, which is great too.
Here are the items in our morning table basket:
- September and CoShop off Etsy – Beginner creature character cards and Character matters cards combo set
- Tiny Theologians – ABCs of God’s attributes cards
- Not consumed ministry – JOY prayer cards for kids and like I mentioned in the video I have their Sibling class, I haven’t done yet but will soon
- Notes from Jesus:What Your New Best Friend Wants You To Know – I got this one off Amazon
- The Ology: Ancient truths book – I got here off Amazon
- Foundations: 12 Biblical truths to shape a family by Ruth Chou Simons and Troy Simons – I bought it here off Amazon
A fun way to talk about God with your kids while they eat to create a Jesus-centered home

I share this to help you spark conversations about God with your family.
