Highlights of month long vacation with our family to Disneyland in California and all the way to Sanibel and Disney World in Florida.
Highlights From Our Vacation:
First we want to say HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all the dads out there. xoxo
We are back from a month long vacation. We love that we have a job that allows for us to travel and still be able to connect with our clients 🙂
If you kept up with us on IG some of this you might be remember. We did our best to pick the highlights from the trip as we had a TON of pictures.
Trip started in Dana Point at the Ritz Carlton. A beautiful place to visit and the staff is amazing. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. We highly recommend it.
Lyla loved the sand beneath her feet.
We even squeezed some swim time in despite it being a little cold outside and pool not being super warm.
We still had a blast. The girls loved the pool.
Then we headed to Disneyland to meet up with our sister. Lori got to celebrate mothers day at Disneyland.
Madison got to meet one of her favorite Disney characters – Woody from Toy Story. She was so excited to meet him.
Family photo with Mickey. Another favorite it in our house. Mickey is probably both girls favorite. Lyla loves touching his nose.
Breakfast with Mom’s favorite Pluto.
We flew cross country (which was a very long day with some toddler melt downs but we survived!!!) to FL to see the rest of the family. And to drive around in the golf cart with Blu, our sister’s dog.
But before heading more south, our sister got us into a dinner character breakfast which featured Prince Charming. Madison’s face says it all.
She had no problem standing and smiling with him.
Then it was time to spend with our parents and our other sister. Madison (and Lyla) both adore their cousin Joy, and the pink car.
There were a lot of pink car rides.
And lots and lots of swimming.
Loved my new bathing suit I got from Target. I feel more confident and happy in my 34 year old body than I did when I was in my 20s.
No more dieting. No more exercising for hours. No more obsessing about what to eat or not. Just living in the moment and having fun. This is what Lori and I help our clients with because we all deserve to be happy and living a life we love now not when we look a certain way. We have
We had a blast doing the #PTliftupchallenge and connecting with our tribe from all over the world. Along with enjoying some plantain chips.
Then it was off to the beach – Sanibel Island. This was Lyla’s first time there and Madison’s second time.
Actually, Madison was about Lyla’s age when she first came here so I thought that was pretty cool.
We stay at Casa Ybel resort. We grew up here and now we get to see my girls and our sister daughter play here.
It is so much fun creating new memories with all the kiddos.
Both Madison and Lyla enjoyed the little kids pool there!! According to Madison it is her pool. haha
Rocking my Oakley sunglasses. LOVE. The kids love to see their reflection when I am holding them.
Lyla’s face here captures how much FUN we all had. Didn’t want it to end.
Then it was time to end out our vacation at Disney World.
This was both Madison’s and Lyla’s first time here. They both loved it despite Lyla’s face, haha.
We are a Disney Family! We were blessed to grow up with Disney so close and now going with little ones just makes it more fun (and sometimes a little challenging.)
Unicorn Mode.
Breakfast with Pooh and friends at Magic Kingdom was another big highlight moment for Madison (as her face says it all)! This is a must place to dine at if you go to Disney, it has amazing food and lots of choices. Such a fun and good breakfast for the whole family.
Matching shirts for the cousins 🙂 Again Lyla’s face and Madison loves to pose. These girls bring so much joy to our lives.
Classic picture. Mickey ears. Where’s Lyla? haha
We will have to try to find the ones of us growing up taken in the same spot to share.
Despite some monorail delays and hot weather we had fun at Epcot.
Madison got to meet a lot of her favorites like Ariel, which is also a favorite of ours.
We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with the Princesses. Snow White was the favorite that morning 😉
Probably the biggest highlight of the trip was meeting the new Mickey that talks!! Never seen Madison smile so big. She was so happy to meet him.
Lori got to meet her favorite, Belle.
Lyla really enjoyed meeting all the Disney princesses and characters. Looks like she is a Belle fan too.
Family dinner at Chef Mickey’s. Another must do.
We love our family!!
This picture says it all…pure love and joy!
Then it was time for our long journey cross country back to CA. This trip the kids did much better! Not quite ready to be frequent flyers, but getting there.
Back to a “normal” routine around here. We were all excited to be back and see Jax.
As much as we love FL we sure missed it out here in Cali. Oh and Lyla is just about walking!!!!
The weather here has been perfect. We don’t have a pool here but we got a water bucket 😉 Or a large drinking bowl for Jax.
The biggest change around here is that Madison has started summer preschool!! She is growing up. She is loving it and mom is doing good too. Lori and I are still figuring out our work/life schedule now with this change, but everything is good. We love it all.
Thanks for allowing us to share our vacation with you. Things will slowly return back to normal here on PT!
xoxo

Thanks girl.
Nice Pictures! Looks like you had a great time! Thanks for sharing!
I first saw you girls many years ago, crawling on your parents’ living floor in Cape Coral. My how you have grown and your families are beautiful. Your Dad and I still communicate via email and I get all the news your Dad sends him, politically and otherwise. Much good luck , health, and happiness to all of you.
Thank you 🙂 To you too!
