Highlights of purelytwins life and shout-outs to our Purely Twins community
Highlights From Our Week:
That smile…true happiness…
Lyla’s first time down the slide.
Enjoyed plantain cinnamon buns for Easter breakfast. We followed this gluten-free cinnamon bun recipe just omitted the cookie dough filling. The frosting was a little ghee mixed with coconut milk and powdered sugar.
For Easter we made our gluten-free vegan carrot cake cups from our Purely Classic Cookbook
Filmed new workouts this week.
This is how we get true peace and reconnection with ourselves by saying positive things to ourselves and moving our bodies outside.
Her smile 🙂
Plantain waffles with peanut butter and eggs.
All of our favorites together for a simple post-workout meal.
Lori doing some modified frontal planks using a chair. See how she is getting her core strength back and healing her diastasis inside Retrain Your Core.
The biggest thing to look for to know if you are ready to move forward with more advanced moves if you have any ab separation is too watch your BELLY. Does it cone? Do you have good core engagement throughout the movement? Are you breathing and not holding your breath?
These are 3 things I always look for when I try a new move. DR doesn’t cause permanent damage to your core, you don’t have to get surgery, and you don’t necessarily have to close it completely to still have an optimal functioning body and be pain-free.
What do you do with leftover carrots? You make fudge of course.
We had left over carrots from the carrot cakes, so we steamed them and made carrot cake fudge. Great decision.
Made up some homemade toothpaste with essential oils (get our FREE DIY ebook), baking soda and coconut oil (we get coconut oil from Thrive).
We both finally went to a dentist since living out here in CA and the dentist said we had beautiful teeth and was impressed we make our own toothpaste.
4 ingredient cookies! We used Nuttzo as the nut butter.
Lyla took her first step. She is really determined to run with Madison.
She is just a few days away from being 8 months!
Simple dinner, which how we like it. We have some arugula and broccoli topped with tahini and sea salt with some Applegates chicken apple sausage.
Eating should be fun, easy and satisfying (for both your body and your soul). For us we have to have a fat at every meal. This keeps us satisfied and energized. Plus it helps keep our skin and hormones happy.
Everything we eat we love including simple wholesome meals like this. Do you love everything you eat? What is your favorite go-to dinner?
Not sure who is more excited Jax or Madison to play with bubbles.
Working on something FUN for May for you including new workouts!
