Thanks for all the nice comments and emails about my adventure alone to LA for a business entrepreneur event. As I mentioned I am still trying to take everything in from the event, which I find myself finding it hard to allow myself to rest. To go within deeper like I did when I was there. It’s like vacation, right? When you’re out of your normal routine YOU feel different. More calm, relaxed, right? Not sure if that’s the best way to describe it. I am not the best with words, which is actually something negative I’ve been saying about myself for a long time. Actually, Lori and I struggle with this one area of our life and in business. We tend to say we aren’t good with words or we’re not writers, not realizing that was hurting us. We were manifesting more negativity into our lives through these daily thoughts. We caught ourselves the other day thinking these thoughts as we wrote our emails about our Stop Obsessing Start Living program to our newsletter list this week. Thankfully, through all our inner and mindset work we realized these thoughts and told our subconscious minds we say enough and we say the right things to the right people.
I am proud of myself (including my flaws and imperfections) and if people want to judge me for that then that is their problem. Geez if I could show the world my body covered in red patches from my eczema I can handle anything. This entrepreneur event helped me realize I am strong something I never allow myself to feel and BE. Own my power, which Heather’s Your Creative Self meditation is also helping me with. I am becoming a whole new me and I love it.
As a person who is always puts myself out there in the public to judge and criticize it takes strength. It takes having a bigger purpose in life. This was another topic that was discussed at the event. I won’t go into too much about this as it’s something I could chat about for awhile, but I want you to know that people will always judge you. BUT you’re stronger than them. Your purpose in life is to not please others. Your purpose is to live out your soul’s purpose, and when you do that you spread the light to others.
Lori and I’s mission is to inspire and empower women to love food, love their bodies, let go of old beliefs holding them back, gain more confidence in themselves, use their past struggles to help others, and find a lifestyle that fits their idea of happiness and success. We share our life – the good and bad – to let you know it’s not about being perfect, but being you #bepurelyyou despite what that inner mean girl is telling you. We share everything that has helped us here on the blog from working out less to fun wholesome recipes to mindset to family to business to beauty to self-love. We only want the best for you and help you bring out your best version so you can join us in changing the world. With that being said if you are ready to no longer let fear around food and your body hold you back join us inside our sisterhood to Stop Obsessing Start Living.
Phew, brownie anyone?
One thing we believe is there nothing wrong with being emotional. There is nothing wrong with emotional eating. It’s about being OKAY with you in every situation and don’t let it bring you down. We are emotional creatures and we should not be ashamed of that. And food is always going to be part of life so it’s extremely important to create a healthy relationship with food and with yourself.
Alright let’s get to baking…
