What’s not to love?!?

Sinfully and secretly healthy Girl Scout inspired Samoa chocolate gluten-free cake recipe that's super easy to make! Layers of rich chocolate plantain cake, topped with chewy coconut caramel, chocolate drizzle and dipped in more chocolate! Sure to please lovers of samoas everywhere. This cake is gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free and nut-free.

When we thought of this cake we knew we wanted a lot of chocolate. This cake provides that and more.

Unlike our raw samoa bar where we didn’t do any chocolate coated bottom. We call that recipe our lazy version.

This samoa cake we we decided to use the leftover chocolate to dip each cake slice into. Yes a little messy but so worth it. We promise.

This dessert is a nice balance of textures and sweetness.

This cake recipe was inspired by our other two samoa inspired recipes:

Flourless almond butter samoa bars

Raw samoa bar

This newest cake recipe is pretty darn amazing we must say.

We happily enjoyed it over a few days.

Dates work wonderfully to create a creamy caramel like coconut packed topping and with the touch of chocolate balances everything out nicely.

This recipe is genius! Awesome job keeping it almost entirely allergen free! I can’t wait to try this. I love that there’s no refined sugar in it and that they’re all normal ingredients I have hanging around the house. Great job stepping up your game with the new website too 🙂
