by purelytwins

Hey hey!

Well it’s been awhile since we did a business/blogging post. We were talking the other day how we wanted to share some insights. We wanted to chat with you about some things as life as entrepreneurs.

If you are new to our  Pluggedin  online business series – HI! This series is a different side of Purely Twins! We share more with you on why we do things the things we do and how we do things for our business and blog that you can apply to your business or blog. Whenever we have something to share we do. We chat about our struggles and share tips. We believe in helping and supporting one another to help each other succeed! Women empowering women.

This past year we’ve went through some business changes and as entrepreneurs we know the struggle of feeling like you are all alone while you grow your business. We are sharing some things we’ve learned that hopefully will help inspire you to keep going.

Online Business update:  5 lessons learned from trying new things to grow

If you enjoyed this video please share it with someone you know who would benefit from it. Thank you.

Like we mentioned in the video thank you for your support and feedback.

Running an online business is hard. There is fear, doubt and failures. Even some tears. But it's also very rewarding, fun and exciting! Building your own online empire can teach you a lot about life and yourself. We've made some changes to our business and sharing 5 lessons we've learned from having an online business.

We hope you learn something new or get inspired in some way to follow your dreams.

You have something amazing to offer this world. You need to get your product or service out into the world. Don’t let fear hold you back any longer. We say just do it. Take that leap.

Our online business has changed and evolved over the years but that’s what we love about it. Running our own business has undoubtedly been one of the best and most fun experiences in our lives.  We’ve had our successes, bumps in the road, tears, doubts, frustrations, celebrations and lessons learned. We are now feeling more and more confident and grounded with where we are and where we want to go. We have a clearer vision of who we want to help and where we intend to go. Looking back to share a few lessons we’ve learned as entrepreneurs of an online business and blog.

5 Key business lessons: Seeing failures as part of success, using surveys to serve better and believing

  • Don’t see mistakes as reasons to stop. See the failures and mistakes as part of the journey. They are part of being successful. Learn from every opportunity!
  • Just do it. Take the leap. You have to put yourself out there to know if it is something you want to do or don’t want to do. Goes back to point #1, you see everything as lessons. Don’t wait. There is never the right time.
  • Don’t be afraid to ASK. Ask for the sale. Ask for help. Ask for feedback. Using surveys to get feedback is a great way to make sure you are serving your audience and clients the best.
  • Have an open and closed date for your service or program if it fits your product. Have certain dates when people get the opportunity to work with you. Give, give and give great value then ask.
  • And the biggest business lesson (really a life lesson) is BELIEVING. Believing in your services, believing in yourself and believing that everything will work out.

Now we are asking you for feedback, do you like what you see over here on the purely twins blog?  On our social media and youtube channels?

What do you enjoy the most? What don’t you like?

If you are an entrepreneur or blogger what key lessons have you learned? Or have you tried anything new in your business?

Make sure to leave your comments down below so we can all learn and grow together and know that you are not alone on this journey.

We hope you learn something new or get inspired in some way to follow your dreams.

Love what you ladies have been sharing lately! Some other things that would be of interest to me and hopefully others – budgeting tips if it’s not too personal and perhaps plans on how you’d like to grow your business. You mentioned you were ready to hire some help. Hope you both are loving California! Updates on how you’re adjusting (individually and together) would be great too!
