We remember growing up and going into the gas station and picking up the bag of powdered sugar donuts. You know the ones: soft pillow-like inside with a super sweet thick powdered sugar coating on the outside. Oh boy did we love those. Even to this day when we walk into a gas station we see them sitting on the shelf and smile. Quick flashback of memories run through our minds.

Now our tastes and choice of ingredients have changed over the years.  This is our Purely Twins twist on the classic powdered sugar donut recipe.  We like to use a little more gut and skin friendly ingredients and less sugar when it comes to baking. I actually received a sample of Perfect Fit protein at the LA Fit Expo! I am very excited about it but I didn’t know what to do with it! This looks like a great recipe but I may need more protein powder 😀
