Get ready for some scorpion push-ups. This exercise move works your upper body as well as your glutes and hips, requiring more core engagement throughout the push-up. We provide modifications for this move.

We use two different weight amounts in this workout. 5 lbs and 20 lbs. Use a weight amount that allows you to feel the burn but you are able to move through the circuit with little to no rest.
Grab whatever you have around your house to add some resistance if you don’t have a free weight.
Lori has diastasis (although healed and stronger) she modified the scorpion to protect her core more. For those that have diastasis or may be pregnant use a chair for the push-ups. Depending how far you are in your DR healing journey or pregnancy do regular push-ups on a chair or wall instead of scorpion push-ups.
