A twist on the traditional Irish coffee with coffee, Jameson Irish whiskey, kahlua and homemade whipped cream. Just as delicious as the classic! It will warm you up and is ready in 10 minutes!
Michelle loves a good Irish coffee drink. If you remember from her trip to London she enjoyed a few. When she came back she was hooked and we decided to create our own version of this drink.
We love warm coffee drinks for desserts. We tend to go through periods of only drinking wine then all of a sudden we want a change. With winter here we are all about sipping on something warm. We aren’t huge drinkers but we do love a good cocktail or two.
We love our coffee. There’s no denying that. However, splashing in some whiskey, occasionally, is also a welcomed treat.

Do you like Irish Coffees?
Looks delicious! But you guys never told us why Michelle went to London or who she went with? Just for fun? I went earlier in the Summer and it was fantastic! I got to go to Wimbledon. Best trip ever–it was fun re-living my time through some of your photos.
In her post she showed why she went for the football game with her dad and our older sister 😉 And it was for fun too! We hope one day to go see Wimbledon!! How fun.
Oh I totally missed that, haha. That’s awesome! Diehard fans 🙂 You’ll just LOVE Wimbledon. It felt like a once in a lifetime kinda thing!
No worries!! I bet it did!! xoxo
I do enjoy your blog. I appreciate you sharing what you learn. You are very inspiring!
I wanted to add something I learned recently from a dietitian. I used a lot of coconut oil and products before and recently learned coconut oil is high in saturated fat. I know it has health benefits and it does depend on the individual and their lifestyle, but I recommend pointing this out to people so they are aware. You may have already done this, I am not sure.
Many thanks for all you do,
Thank you for sharing.
What was the rationale behind adding Kahlua? If it was for sweetness, I’m kind of surprised that you’d add something that contains high fructose corn syrup in lieu of just using a teaspoon of raw sugar.
Honestly we just like the flavor.
Yum! This sounds amazing ladies! I’m laying on the couch by the tree today, doing some work and working on 2016 goals – a mug of this sounds like the perfect compliment to the day! 🙂
sounds like a great day Jen!! xoxo
