Do you like pirates? Are you a fan of Johnny Depp? Michelle is a huge fan of Johnny Depp and Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean. Another favorite movie of Johnny’s that we love, but at first didn’t, is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We find Johnny Depp to be one of the greatest actors; we just love him.  One thing about his character, Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates, is he is a bit off. Unbalanced you could say. But this is why we love his character right?

Well, today it’s all about balance. In this new workout your balance will be tested! This workout targets your legs and your core!

Style of workout:  10 minute workout

Workout focus: core and butt

Set Gymboss Interval Timer to 10 minutes and see how many rounds you can do of the workout. You will be doing 10 reps of each exercise.

10 minute leg workout that focuses on balance. This will strengthen your legs and core!

A fun workout that will strengthen and tone your legs and core and improve your balance.

Single leg squats are a unilateral squat variation. It is a challenging move on its own, and we added in a free weight to make it more challenging. If you are advanced you can do this without the chair.

We added in step-ups because they are a very basic movement yet they are highly effective at improving stability and strength in the legs! It’s another unilateral movement that requires balance and will force you to strengthen each leg individually. This will help you bring balance not only to your legs but to your physique.  Awesome right?

Take a moment to breathe and take everything in around you. How do you feel?

“Balance” will look different for everyone. We want you to focus on feeling centered…feeling good…feeling okay.

Moving your body like this is the perfect way to get back to feeling balanced.
