If you are looking for a low sugar, grain-free dessert this is for you!
We used our homemade coconut butter but you can use store bought too. We recommend softening it to make it easier to whip.
If you have questions about plantains check out this post.
We used protein powder in the cake and fudge, but you can use any flour you like.
Please note this cake is not sweet like most of our recipes here on the blog. If you desire more sweetness add in some stevia or you can reduce coconut oil in cake to add in some maple syrup.

Would there be a substitute for the protein powder? Could I use coconut flour?
you can use any flour, you can use coconut flour you might need to add in more pumpkin puree as coconut flour absorbs differently
which protein powder did you use?
do you think whey would work?
not rice protein, right? cause that would make it chalky?
what about sunwarrior blend? too strong?
hemp?
almond flour?
we use pea protein in this recipe, yes whey should be fine. Sunwarrior blend might be okay, we haven’t had that in a long time so unsure of the flavor.
yes Hemp protein would be great option too.
Almond flour should be ok too.
