We mentioned we got some Sizzlefish in the mail and today we are sharing our first recipe using their sockeye salmon.  (our favorite)

They have the best tasting frozen fish and every thing is individually packaged. We love that! It makes throwing meals together very easy… AWESOME.

Today’s recipe was something we enjoyed often two years ago during our gut healing days. It’s easy on the stomach to digest because it is made from real foods.

It’s actually a highly pinned recipe of ours which surprised us. Why? Because it’s so simple. Frankly, the majority of our meals are like this, our purely fit sisters see a lot of meals like this when we share our daily eats.

Since it was so popular we thought we would make a more formal post about making it. We love showing ways to eat healthy while keeping it simple and quick! In today’s busy and stressful world making eating healthy, fun and colorful is important. And of course tasty too.

Real food dinner that serves two – salmon veggie pasta with avocado and parsnip fries.

Share this quick and easy dinner for two recipe with your loved ones!

This dinner starts with fresh zucchini and squash to create pasta. Then add in a few parsnip fries, avocado and salmon to create one good looking dish.

Quick and healthy balanced dinner for two that is made in under 15 minutes.

When using zucchini and yellow squash they naturally make this dish low carb friendly.  Spiralizing our veggies like this is honestly our favorite way to eat them.

Sizzlefish makes it super convenient to make a healthy dinner in minutes.

To defrost their fish you simply place the package of fish in the fridge the night before to thaw.

Then when it’s dinner time the next day you simply cook it up and enjoy it with your favorite veggies.

Dinner made from 7 ingredients:

What's for dinner? Salmon veggie pasta! Quick. Easy. Healthy dinner for two using real foods. #glutenfree #paleo #gutfriendly | purelytwins.com

Salmon is our favorite fish with halibut and scallops coming in 2nd and 3rd.

We love the flavor of salmon (Madison loves it too) and it’s packed with nutrients that your body needs like omega 3 and protein.

A simple balanced meal that we adore eating on a daily basis. Of course you can add in any veggie or carb you like. Easy to customize to your liking.

Due to this meal being super simple, adding sea salt we found really helps bring out the flavors. Sea salt is a must-have pantry item in our kitchen. Our favorite is black lava sea salt from Mountain rose herbs.
