We had a void to fill since the Walking Dead doesn’t come back to the fall, so The Vikings filled that spot. When we visited our friend a few weeks ago she mentioned she watched it and thought we would like it. She was right.

No sure the Vikings liked marshmallow treats or not. But…

We are super excited to share this recipe with you. It’s actually been a recipe on our list to make for a long time.

We’ve always wanted to make something else using our beloved homemade gluten-free cocoa puffs. And then it hit us. We should make something with chocolate chips, peanut butter and marshmallows. Well, that’s a quick way it came to reality. We will spare you the long version of how we came about this recipe.

You can use any cereal of your liking. We did a combo of our vanilla and cocoa puff cereals as we had them on hand.

If you do not like peanut butter or cannot eat it, replace with any nut or seed butter.

No bake peanut butter cocoa puff fudge marshmallow protein treats (gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, egg-free)

A fun recipe that requires no baking! 2 cups of homemade cocoa puff cereal mixed with no sugar marshmallows, peanut butter, chocolate chips and protein powder. A rich dense fudge treat.

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 10 minutes

Instructions

  1. Place coconut oil into a pot on medium low heat.
  2. As it melts add in peanut butter and marshmallows.
  3. Then stir in the protein powder.
  4. When all is melted together pour into a bowl.
  5. Stir in 2 cups of cereal and 1/3 cup chocolate chips and peanuts.
  6. Line a 9 in square pan then spread the batter around.
  7. Place in refrigerator for a few hours until firm.
  8. Remove from fridge.
  9. Slice and enjoy.
  10. Store in fridge.

  • Serving Size: Makes about 16 slices

Oh my these look so decadent! PB is seriously one of my favorite things! I love it in smoothies, on bread, on bananas, pretty much anything. Sometimes I even just eat a spoonful from the jar!
