High carb day & discussion about carbs and low carb

by purelytwins

We love talking food.

In today’s vlog we show you what we ate yesterday, which was a high carb day for us.

Did you enjoy the video?

What are your thoughts on carbs?

Remember we all require different nutritional needs as our bodies, goals, activity level, age, etc are different. So don’t compare your eats with what we eat. We are only sharing this to give you an example of what we eat.

We want to inspire you to love being in the kitchen and making food YOU enjoy and that your body likes.

Recipes mentioned in video:

Plantain bread — which we made as waffles and added in gelatin

Broccoli breadsticks

Products mentioned in video:

Liverwurst from US Wellness meats (aff link)

Coco Monkey a low carb sweetener

Keep those check-ins coming we love hearing from you ladies. You inspire us everyday! #30daykbchallenge

What are you doing for your rest day?

How are you taking care of yourself today?

When use the calculator off this http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ You first have to put your weight, height, age, activity level to get calorie intake. Then to figure our your macros you really just have to experiment. We just try something out for awhile and see how we do. We try to have our high carbs days on days we are most active but it doesn’t always work out. Hope this helps. Thank you for your support and glad you like the recipes!

I think carbs are great! Just as long as you eat the right ones and the carbs you eat come from natural sources and have a lot of fiber!
