One being we have a new home workout for you plus we are reviewing Fabletics workout clothes. More on the clothes below.

When you combine jump rope and free weights, you get one heart pumping cardio workout. This workout is not only fun to do but perfect for indoor cardio lower body burn session. We will lead you through this 18 minute routine and we promise you won’t get bored.

Let’s do this workout together!

Equipment:  jump rope and free weights

Style of workout:   cardio interval

Workout focus:  lower body + cardio

Set Gymboss Interval Timer to 18 rounds of intervals of 10/50 sec. Push yourself in those 50 seconds.

We suggest for different fitness levels:

B-fits (beginner peeps) – Follow modifications from video. Use bodyweight or light weight. Omit the jumping and just squat. And do regular side lunges with no jumping.

A-fits (advanced peeps) –  Use moderately heavy weight. Go for speed and limit your breaks. Use a jump rope if you have one.

Diastasis recti tip – Go slow. Focus on your breathing! Keep belly button in towards spine when exhaling. Use a light weight.


A fast moving 18 minute cardio workout for busy ladies and moms

This workout is great for post partum moms like Lori. It will get that heart rate up and get the most out of your time since it combines cardio and strength.

Even though this workout is 18 minutes long it goes by super fast. Perfect cardio session to squeeze into your busy schedule.

Repeat this 3 times before you workout.

We all can get wrapped up in our lives. The to-do list. The stresses, etc. and forget to think how grateful we should be for our bodies. As a society we tend to put a lot of unnecessary stress upon ourselves. We can get so caught up in helping others or doing things in our careers that we neglect our own bodies.

How often do you say to yourself that you are grateful for your body?

Probably not as often as you should. It’s amazing what we put our bodies through and it still loves us? So remember be kind to your body. And tell it how grateful you are for it everyday.

Review of Fabletics workout clothes


We want to thank you Fabletics for sending these cute workout clothes to review!! We were so excited to get the email and the opportunity. We were not paid for this, our opinions are our own.

For those that are not familiar with Fabletics, it is a workout clothing line created by Kate Hudson (we love her!). It’s a monthly membership subscription so you never run out of cute workout clothes.

Lori used to be have a membership with JustFab group (which Fabletics is a branch of) but she felt she wasn’t using it as much so she stopped. But then we heard about Fabletics and are thinking the monthly membership might be good for us being fitness trainers.  One thing we like is you can skip months if you don’t feel like spending money on workout clothes that month. Which is great for us, we love flexibility.

We love adding more stylish outfits to pick from for our workouts.


Love the mesh top and the bright colored band on these pants.

We love the way the clothes feel on our skin! We wear a lot of bamboo clothes and are excited to have other options that feel great on the skin. This was our first time trying out Fabletics and we were very impressed. The quality is great so far, as we have only worn the outfits once.


We are all about cute and  comfortable when it comes to workout gear and Fabletics meets these requirements.

Lori loved her outfit, but Michelle was not so in love with her outfit. The top was falling off her so it made it very hard to workout in. It’s a great top to wear around just not a workout shirt in our opinion. And we are not sure where we stand on gray pants as we find them tough to look good in and you can see sweat sometimes. Both set of pants fit our bodies which is hard being short girls with bigger bottoms.

Overall, we are impressed with Fabletics. They have a decent selection of clothing. We are excited to try more outfits out in the future. I love jump rope workouts and having the option to do high knees is useful, cause when I am at home I can’t skip because of low ceilings. I will definitely give it a try this week.
I always gawk at Fabletics clothes, but have not purchased any. I do really like the fun styles they offer.

I’m a HUGE Fabletics fan! I love their workout gear and definitely wear it on the daily! 😉 I haven’t bought any for a few months strictly because money is tight so I’m definitely gushing over those cute tops you girls have!
