Paleoful baking mixes

by purelytwins

Nothing like ending a long week with some yummy treats.

time-to-make-paleoful-baking-mixes

The lovely people over at Paleoful emailed us asking if we would like to try and review their paleo baking mixes. We said yes. We love being able to find ways to support other small food businesses. As former bakery owners ourselves many years ago we know exactly how hard the food business can be. And Lauren, the owner, loves to bake and enjoys grain-free treats just like us.

Plus they are allowing us to do a giveaway of their baking mixes to one lucky purely twins family (US readers)! Yay!

Review of paleo gluten-free grain-free vegan cookie and brownie mixes from Paleoful.

Come and watch us make these delicious paleo treats!

We were very impressed with how easy these mixes were to bake. Super simple and quick. And love how you only had to add in 2-3 wet ingredients!

Plus these Paleoful mixes are vegan!! Perfect for those that want to eat more grain-free and egg-free. Love that.

paleoful-almond-cookies

First up was the almond meal based cookies.  These turned out to  be very sturdy cookies, light and very crunchy. Overall a very good basic crunchy chocolate chip cookie!

paleoful-sunflower-seed-cookies

Next up was their other version of chocolate chip cookies made from sunflower seeds to make them nut-free.

Again super easy to make, the batter was a little more wet and oily. They turned out to be a little delicate but still very yummy. Slight sunflower seed flavor and very light in texture. Crunchy too!

If you like thin, crunchy cookies these are perfect. They have great flavor, short ingredient list and have a great aftertaste.

paleoful-fudgy-brownies

Final mix to try was their brownies! Again super easy to whip up. In 30 minutes we had rich, fudgy brownies. They were perfect.

yummy-chewy-paleo-brownies

Seriously some of the best paleo brownies we’ve had. They are exactly what we like in a good brownie. Rich and chewy! So good.

We overall liked the brownies the best.

The cookies were good too but we prefer soft, dense cookies. We did enjoyed both versions of the cookies. We felt both were equal in terms of final texture, sweetness and flavor.

final-paleo-bakedgoods-review

Thank you Lauren and everyone else over at Paleoful for sending us these amazing mixes. We enjoyed them all!!

Paleoful baking mixes are perfect for those just starting out in the paleo or grain-free world of baking. Directions are easy to follow. We feel these would be great mixes to travel with if the place you are going has a kitchen, so you can quickly whip up some healthy treats.
