We have been looking forward to sharing this post as it means a lot to share that our friend Gina, the Fitnessista, has a new book out!! We are so proud and excited for her and her book!!

HIIT it! book review

We are very lucky and blessed to have Gina in our life as a friend. She has been a huge inspiration for us. I (Michelle) remember the first time meeting Gina (which I was totally nervous about and felt like a big goof, but she is the sweetest thing ever!) We both took the raw chef course at 105 degrees in Oklahoma City back in the day…and have been friends ever since.

Like Gina, we love a good quick sweaty workout, a good glass of wine, yummy food, and spending time with family!

In the book Gina shares her story and how HIIT has helped her life. And we totally relate as we are the same #wethinkGinaisaourtriplet 🙂 She is a busy mom, personal trainer, runs an amazing blog and knows how precious times is. HIIT workouts are simply the best.

Love the name of the book too! HIIT IT!

The book has two parts: HIIT it Fitness and HIIT it diet.

Gina gives your workouts, workout schedules and a glossary of the moves. The book and schedules are easy to follow!

Basically everything you need to have for a complete workout program is in this book. Gina does a great job with helping you find your workout groove through HIIT workouts.

For the diet part Gina provides awesome tips and tools you need to make better choices in the kitchen.

Then the recipes…oh my. We knew Gina was talented in the kitchen! These recipes will blow you away!!

There are savory recipes and sweet ones! We beat you can guess which ones we are excited about 🙂 When our #21dsd is over we will be making macaroons!! Aka #thebestthingever

Which was a good decision!

Simple to make and taste amazing. We loved the spices Gina used over the squash. Perfect dinner side dish!

We love the approach Gina has to her workouts and nutrition. It’s about balance. Keeping things simple. Focus on making positive lifestyle changes. We completely agree.Gina does a great job in explaining all about HIIT and why it’s important. How to do it right and make it work for  you! She shows you can have a busy life but you can still fit workouts in and eat balance meals to complement your training.

Having a toddler and a set of 4 month twins, I don’t always have time to get on a computer to pull up workouts. Having it in book format would be so much easier and wouldn’t have to deal with my toddler pushing buttons.

I would love to win this book, as a busy PhD student , avid amateur chef and a fitness instructor of Capoeira I have been incorporating more and more hiit workouts into my day. I really appreciate the difference they have made in my training and my teaching methods. This book would help me with my purely fit life goals and healthy eating!! It would also help my students 🙂

The second gym I belong to has also closed in a period of less than two years I am beginning to believe I am not meant to get a good workout. With this book I would have ZERO excuses.

To be honest, this last month has been terrible. I made new year’s resolutions to get healthy and lose weight. Nothing has worked. Unhealthy food addictions are truly hard to break. Maybe this book would inspire and give me the guidelines necessary to reach my goals.

As a mum of three (7 year old twin boys and a two year old princess), working out at home is the best (if not only) solution for me, and thanks to people like you I do love it but a book would be the perfect thing to complete my workout ‘equipment’!

I would love the Hitt book because I am a trainer and always need new ideas to keep my clients on their toes!! I also always think of everyone else’s workouts and it would be great to not have to think on my own! I would also love some of the recipes because I am always trying to think of new ways to make healthy meals for my husband to enjoy.. He is a hard one to please when cooking healthy 🙂

First off, I absolutely love all three of you. You are all so inspiring. I wish I could meet all of you and pick apart your brains for wisdom. Your healing journey had inspired me to do one of my own. I have crohns disease and have been trying to fight back as naturally with food and lifestyle changes as much as possible. Getting healthy requires a massive commitment, but I’m taking it one day at a time. My next step is fitness. I have been super the last six months, so I will have to take it slow, but am ready to get my strength back. This book would help me get back on track. I love Gina and her blog. All three of your outlooks on health and fitness has inspired me so much. I am ready to support you guys more and rake the next step in my healing journey. Thank you too all the of you, I know it’s hard to share sometimes, but you make this all human. Humans live and learn. Thanks for keeping it real.
