We left the hospital yesterday afternoon. Both Gary and I were so excited to get home!!! It was hard leaving the wonderful nurses at the hospital as they were sooooo helpful. But I am feeling more and more confident on my own 🙂 Luckily, I have a great home support team!
Madison did great in the car. She slept the whole way home.
And the meet and greet with her big brother, Jax, went wonderful. I was so eager for that moment! Jax was not sure what to think. He is getting used to having a little sister 🙂
I look forward in seeing their bond grow as she gets bigger and they can play more together.
I am not sleeping much, which is to be expected as a new mom. I am trying to get some rest when Madison rests, but I just cannot take my eyes off of her. I always feel so nervous not watching her. I know these first time nerves will ease down.
We received these beautiful flowers from Gary’s co-workers!! Thank you!!
And my mom and Michelle got this it’s a girl ballon with an elephant toy. so cute
Catching a little sleep while watching The Voice!
My mom and Michelle have been here helping out with everything…especially taking care of Jax and the house, while Gary and I have all our focus on Madison! A nice stress relief knowing I have family around for help. Although mom leaves soon…very sad about that, but I know we need to find our routine.
Michelle cooked us up an amazing breakfast! Thanks sis!
Gary and I are taking Madison to her first doctor appointment.
Life over here is wonderful…peaceful…exciting…a little nerve-wracking….but my baby girl is here and my life has completely changed for the better.
