A day in the life of being 38 weeks pregnant video.
I am in the middle of my 38 weeks. I am counting down the days. I am beyond anxious over here. Michelle is keeping me busy with focusing on business related projects 🙂

I hope you enjoyed seeing a few pieces of my day on Sunday. Like I said it was a pretty casual kind of Sunday.
Fun times installing infant car seat.
We finally figured it out!!
Big brother Jax unsure what to think here. All he wanted to do was jump in the car or play with baby M’s toy on her car seat.
Now I think we are officially ready for the hospital trip. Hopefully I won’t forget anything. I probably should make a checklist or something.
Why I am not doing a home birth?
I did not realize on my last facebook pregnancy update about me packing for the hospital would cause some questions about me not considering a home birth. Especially how people were surprised that I was not doing a home birth?! I did not mean to offend anyone.
I wasn’t going to address the question but after some deep thought I felt like I should. I have nothing against those that decide to do a home birth. I also don’t have anything against those that decide to go to the hospital or for those that plan to get all the drugs either.
To me pregnancy and labor is a very personal choice.
We are all different so why would we all want the same births? I know home births can be very safe. To be honest I just never really thought about a home birth. I picked the hospital with the idea of still having a natural birth because it feels safe for me with my first birth. My goal is to stay in my home as long as possible before heading to the hospital. I have my birth preference ready so everyone at the hospital will understand my needs.
I know that childbirth is a natural thing and my body knows what to do. I feel even though I am planning my birth experience to happen at the hospital I feel it will still be an amazing experience.
There are so many different opinions and sides to this subject. And I don’t want to make it a big deal because I think we should all agree that everyone is looking for the best pregnancy experience they can get! I think both options to have birth is fine. Again it comes back to a personal decision. AND I would love it if we could all just not bash one another when someone decides to do something a little differentl than them.
Overall I am still moving around like normal. As normal as I can be over here with a big baby belly 😉
I decided not to do my normal pregnancy update because not much has changed.
Things are similar to what the past few weeks have been for me and baby M!
I have another doctor check-up this Friday where they will check my cervix to see if I am dilating. I am nervous and excited for that appointment. I am ready for baby M to be here!
Now for my pregnancy workouts.
I am still doing our home workouts. I try to do 2-3 a week along with more walking, some TRX action and stretching whenever possible. I am hoping all the stretching (that you saw in the video) will help me at labor. I do feel my workouts have helped me tremendously with keeping my energy up, not having too many body aches or issues and overall keeping my emotions stable.
What are your thoughts on home birth vs hospital?
How easy was it for you to install the baby car seat?
What did you do for your workout today? What was your highlight from the weekend?
I am off to go film a new workout for our purely fit sisters.
