We are down enjoying a relaxing family vacation in the Florida keys for a few days. We forgot how there are mosquitos everywhere here. Not fun. But we are loving the time away from our typical day work schedule. Seriously, we haven’t done much of anything. Guess that is what vacation is for, right?

We are keeping it simple over here just like today’s fun new recipe.

Sometimes you just need a quick and healthy snack that can be made in just a few seconds. Today’s recipe does just that and it’s made from just 4 ingredients.

4 ingredient protein berry dough balls (gluten-free, dairy-free)

We were playing around in the kitchen one day and came up with this quick healthy recipe. We hope you like it.

And the best part about this recipe is that you can easily customize it for your food preference.

We made these red and blue balls in honor of fourth of July! It’s hard to believe it is already here?!?! Where did this year go?

And as we were editing the video and writing up the blog post we realized we forgot to make white balls! You know to make red, white and blue 🙂

bummer

oh wait…

Cake batter dough balls to the rescue!!

 phew

Now we have a complete red, white and blue holiday treat!

Come into our kitchen to see how quick and easy it is to make these protein dough balls with fruit.

No BAKE mostly raw, vegan and paleo protein berry coconut butter dough balls.

A fun little treat to add to your July 4th party.

No bake 4 ingredient fruit protein dough balls (raw, vegan, paleo)

A quick healthy treat that is made from coconut butter, berries and protein powder. A nice balance of healthy fats, protein, and carbs to satisfy any craving.

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: makes 4-6 dough balls 1x
Scale

Ingredients

  • fruit protein dough balls
  • 1 tbsp protein flour (any protein or gelatin)
  • 2 tbsp coconut butter
  • 1 tbsp berries
  • 56 drops stevia

Instructions

  1. We used frozen berries that we defrosted.
  2. Use raspberries and strawberries for the red dough balls. And blueberries and blackberries for the blue.
  3. Combine all ingredients into vitamix.
  4. Blend until combined.
  5. Carefully scoop into balls.

Easy as 1-2-3!

We love our Vitamix S30 blender!! Easy to make a mess and just as easy to clean up!

Sadly we do not have any other red, white and blue recipes but we think these recipes will do the job in celebrating Independence Day:

raw key lime cheesecake with protein graham cracker crust

Unbaked beet cream cake with chocolate macaroon crust

Unbaked peppermint cheesecake with sprinkles

Raw blueberry orange pistachio biscotti

Grain-free egg-free blueberry streusel cake

Raw strawberry lime cheesecake

Raw brownie cookie dough pie (the best!)

Happy early July 4th fellow Americans!! May you have a safe and happy holiday.

Any special plans for the holiday?
