Baby M’s fairy baby shower

by purelytwins

Thanks everyone for the sweet words! And Michelle and I are so happy you are enjoying our plank stability ball workout. You guys inspire us everyday.

Well, baby M’s baby shower was a success. Thanks to my amazing sisters and mom. And my niece πŸ™‚ Β And thanks to all my guests that came to the baby shower. I had a great time. Baby M too.

Theme of the baby shower was – fairies.

There is a new little fairy coming.

I couldn’t believe how hard it was to find fairies that weren’t scary, so we had to bring in some butterflies.

Loved how the butterflies turned out. Actually I loved how all the decorations turned out for the shower.

As you can tell we went with a purple, green and white color scheme.

Good morning! First and foremost, congrats! Such a special time for you and your family! Enjoy every precious moment! Before you know it she will be turning 10! Which is one of the reasons I am commenting!!!! My daughter turns 10 on the 14th and we both have food allergies so we sincerely appreciate your recipes! She has requested a chocolate cake and I am thinking the low sugar chocolate cake. However, one of her allergies are almonds….what are your thoughts on replacing the almond flour with coconut flour? We need to avoid almonds, peanuts and pecans. As well as dairy, gluten, and soy. Also, I was going to do the brownies but wanted to top with frosting….what is your favorite gluten, dairy free chocolate frosting? Thank you so much and Happy 4th!

purelytwins July 4, 2014 - 10:44 am

Our low sugar chocolate cake is raw and made from cashews as the base and pecans in the crust. You could use sunflower seeds in the crust instead of the pecans. Mac nuts are a great replacement for the cashews.

Carolyn Walden July 5, 2014 - 8:24 am

Thank you so much….we can do cashews and sunflower seeds so I may try a mixture of those. Also going to try your chocolate cake with frosting this weekend πŸ™‚
