Have you ever moved a glass table? A really heavy one!

Well, we just added that to our bucket list just like building a fence.

Yesterday on our afternoon walk with Jax a neighbor came out to us and asked for a favor. Her family is moving and needed some furniture moved. She mentioned that there was this glass table that needed to be moved outside for the movers to get. ย So we walked into her house unsure of what to expect and turned the corner to see this huge glass table. She said this is the table that needs to be moved. She warned us that it was really heavy. Heavy does not even truly describe how heavy it really was. All three of us grabbed the table and managed to get it outside. In one piece.

Then she said there is one more glass tabletop to be moved. This one was a little smaller but just as heavy. We helped her move that one too. She thanked us and we continued our walk. The rest of the walk we talked about how we were both so scared of dropping the glass pieces. We both kept telling ourselves – don’t drop this. Our hands were shaking, our arms were dead but we felt good that we were able to help a fellow neighbor out. ย It’s amazing how heavy glass is. ย We now know that we never want a glass table in our house. Sure it may look nice, but we aren’t sure if it’s really worth it. We like furniture that we can move without hurting ourselves ๐Ÿ˜‰
