Remember our Valentine’s Day beet fudge chocolate protein hearts? And that we said there will be left over beet fudge. Well you can either eat that leftover yummy fudge as is or you can make it as a parfait.
Vanilla puff cereal yogurt beet fudge parfait – a healthy and fun breakfast to go!
Growing up we loved TCBY. Yep we did. It was a tradition we had with our grandfather. He loved taking us there because it made us so happy. And you know what grandparents do best? Spoil their grandchildren!
Now every once in awhile we crave yogurt and ice cream.
So we put our thinking caps on to figure out a way to create a yummy yogurt like treat. One that our tastebuds would love and our bodies would like.
Let’s just say breakfast just has been upgraded. Forget TCBY – it’s time for a healthy and quick breakfast with a little fun.
For the bottom layer we used leftover beet fudge , sprinkled a few vanilla puffs, then topped with some yogurt (we used goat yogurt) and finished off with more vanilla puff parfait! OH MY HEAVENS! SO GOOD!
We also added in a little bit of raw cacao powder into the beet fudge to make it a rich chocolate fudge 😉 Why not right?Print
fudge yogurt vanilla puff cereal parfait to go
A fun and healthy breakfast in a mason to go! Made with protein vanilla puff cereal, yogurt for probiotics and beet fudge for some healthy fats.
- about 1/2 cup or so of our beet fudge
- add in 2–3 tablespoon of raw cacao (optional)
- as much yogurt as you like
- about 1/3 cup or so of vanilla puff cereal or top with any favorite cereal you like (really can do as much or as little as you want)
- Grab a mason jar (makes a perfect breakfast to go).
- Scoop as much beet fudge as you would like into the bottom. We probably did about 1/2 cup or so.
- Next layer with any yogurt of your liking.
- Finish the parfait with vanilla puff cereal or any topping you like.
- Eat and enjoy.
We will be enjoying this for our Valentine’s Day breakfast!
