 coffee

Enjoyed lots of delicious bold coffee.

Bringing in the new year with a stop at Whole Foods 😉

Made some protein cake dough balls and pumpkin pie protein dough balls to use up some leftover applesauce and pumpkin.

Made some beef brisket (we got from US Wellness Meat they sell quality grassland meat products) along with half avocado, arugula, broccoli and red sea salt. YUM.

Apparently Jax wanted some protein thin mints too 😉  He knows where the good stuff is.

Practiced some cookie dough cinnamon rolls!!!! OMG

Happily sampled a cinnamon roll for post-workout one day.

Practiced some moves on our equalizer after our workout earlier this week. Those pistol squats are one exercise move that we are starting to practice again as we are not good at doing them.

Also ate some delicious chocolate pistachio donuts. We tried our best to spread these guys out but they were just too good that we ate them up rather quickly.  Oops.

The other night we both enjoyed a very simple dinner. White rice with sautéed kale, brussel sprouts, grass-fed burger (from US Wellness Meat they sell quality grassland meat products) and lots of tahini.  Sometimes simple is best.

Loving this organic tahini from Whole Foods. It’s not raw, but still delicious.

I need to incorporate more equalizer moves into my workouts! They are great for adding a new challenge and to spice things up a bit. Sometimes a feel a bit silly using them at the gym, but I try to block that out of my mind and say “who cares!”

yay french presses! ours broke 2 yrs ago and my parents bought us one…it is so much better than drip imho! mmmm brisket! we made ribs last night in the slow cooker with orange peel, pumpkin & star anise. it’s super tasty. sparking my week? welp, first one back in the lab and it’s been CRAZY. lots of patients in for the new year and tons of work to complete. my days are dizzying right now?! trying to take it one day at a time. also sparking my week…this stuff called ‘superpunch’ it’s used in adult bevvies and is super tasty/interesting 🙂
