We are home for the whole week!! Excited to be in warm sunny FL weather!

plantain cookies

And we have been non stop in the kitchen already. Our niece requested donuts, so we made our favorite recipe from our Purely Classic Cookbook. And then after a day of playing with our niece and Jax we enjoyed a nice family dinner.  Just love big family dinners, do you?

cookies

After dinner our baking bug attacked and made plantain soft batch chocolate chip cookies followed by protein graham cookies (recipe from our S’mores cookbook) and ended with sugar cookies (a family recipe that we make gluten-free).

So good! We love cookies.

Wishing you all a fun and safe holiday week!

Twins Question: Are you traveling this week to see family? Does your family have big family dinners? What is your favorite type of cookie?

Even though we are done here in FL for our holiday vacation we are still working! We hope to film one or two new workout videos, but as usual with us, we never know.  It seems we just want to be in the kitchen.

I’ve been all about cookies lately, too! It’s cold enough that I want a reason to turn the oven on and make the house smell good. 🙂

great job with those headstands! My family lives about 20 minutes away but my in-laws are driving 2 hours to spend thanksgiving with us this year. We are having a big thanksgiving feast and my favorite Christmas cookies to make and eat are mexican wedding cakes 🙂
