heavenly chocolate mint ice cream waffles

by purelytwins

We are thinking of everyone out in Colorado still dealing with the flooding and now praying for everyone in Washington, DC.  So sad. Our prayers are with everyone. Our hearts go out to everyone involved.

Hey friends!!

Nothing like starting off a busy week with chocolate and mint ice cream?

Didn’t think so.

Chocolate mint ice cream waffles that are vegan, gluten-free and grain-free!!

Since we fell in love with our mint ice cream and our chocolate waffles. We thought of the idea of enjoying them together to make one killer dessert 😉  Really… you could enjoy these chocolate mint ice cream waffles any time of the day.

Life is all about balance and enjoying the little things.

It’s funny we were talking the other day how we change what ‘flavor’ we are loving at the moment. How we go through food craving phases. Anyone else go through food cravings? Where you crave one particular food or flavor and you make it all the time. Then you just stop enjoying it for a period of time without really realizing you stopped. Then you move onto the next flavor combo that you make all the time.

Although we tend to find ourselves always loving our chocolate and mint together. So this is a little piece of heaven.

The perfect way to end a long day. Or even start the day!  These chocolate waffles with mint ice cream are nutrient dense, so no need to feel guilty.

We think you will love this flavor combo as well.  And it’s good for you too.

From the antioxidants in the raw cacao in the waffles, omegas and protein from the hemp protein, and the healthy fats from the avocado in the ice cream. Making these one powerhouse dessert.

I love these recipes you’ve been making recently:) Especially all the mint chocolate chip. I have to say it’s probably my favorite chocolate combo.

Oh my gosh girls! Those pictures have got me drooling here! How did I miss that choc waffle post?!
I only have choc hemp protein powder. Do you think I could use that and omit the stevia and perhaps reduce the cocoa?
