Hello friends!!

Happy Monday! Who is ready for another fun week? Our purely fitters better be ready for more fun workouts this week and check-ins from us!

How was everyone’s weekend? Did you have nice weather?

We had a mix of sun and rain over the past few days. Hopefully the rain stops and more sunny weather comes to stay!

Thursday was a rest day for us but we did squeeze in a family walk.

Friday was doing a plank +bridge combo workout followed by a HIIT cardio sprint interval. Gary and Jax joined too.

saturday workout

Saturday we did a plank builder workout from our purely power fitness program. We did the workout out on Lori’s deck for a change of scenery.

sunday yoga and plank

Sunday was plank with some yoga. Did a little jumping too.

This was the end of our first week #purelypower program. We are so glad to hear that all of our Purely Power Fitters have  been enjoying the workouts too! Together we will all get stronger, one workout at a time.

so sad but i can’t remember the last movie i watched haha…my highlight of the weekend was having one room completely finished in the house! it’s amazing how slowly and quickly things are progressing…my triceps are so sore from all the painting and my legs/core are getting sore from all the balancing on the ladder haha…TOTAL body workout=renovating!

Plantain hash = genius. How are you shredding it?

Amanda we just used a cheese grater. The plantains stuck a little to it as they are moist inside when you grate them.

I’ve seen a few movies lately! Warm Bodies (loved it!), 21 and Over (like The Hangover but for a younger audience… very awkward to watch and inappropriate), The Pelican Brief (on TV– older but I love Julia Roberts), Charlie Bartlett (on Netflix with Robert Downey Jr. and Kat Dennings– so funny!), Love’s Kitchen (Netflix- cute film with a guest appearance from Gordon Ramsay) and Hansel and Gretel (from Redbox– overall pretty good but kind of gorey— thankfully it looked very fake so I could just laugh it off! Haha).

Great movies in theaters right now, The Lone Ranger and Despicable Me 2 (just when you thought those minions couldn’t get cuter, they do!). Because the weather has been crazy rainy here, I thought I’d treat myself to something new… PLANTAINS!yum!
