baked filled plantains




  1. Peel your plantain.
  2. Leave it whole.
  3. Heat up your oven to 375 degrees. Coat your plantain with about 1 teaspoon coconut oil or ghee or real butter.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Flip and bake for another 15-20 minutes.
  6. Once out of oven carefully cut a little slice on top and peel away (making a generous whole in the plantain) and fill with favorite topping.
  7. Best enjoyed warmed.
