First we wanted to say Happy July 4th to all our fellow Americans 🙂 And happy belated Canada Day to all our Canadian friends! We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday! And for our #purelypower #purelyfitlife peeps hope you all enjoy your day off!
Now today’s recipe highlights aren’t necessarily red, white and blue inspired but they are definitely great to enjoy this holiday. And really any day during these hot summer days! Silly us that we have not really created a red, white and blue inspired recipe – bad twins… maybe next year 😉
We love looking back at old recipes remembering how we came about creating them as well as eating them! Some of these we need to make again!
Collection of our favorite summer time recipes that will cool you down!
*side note: we are slowly working on updating our recipe page making it easier to find certain recipes. Trying to make more categories for more specific ingredients, etc. Thanks as always for your patience as we continue to make it easier for you.
soft serve avocado coconut lime
strawberry lime cream cake
raw layered apple pie and pumpkin mousse
easy fresh peach ice cream
no bake pecan cookie sandwiches
pink ice cream cake
mint chip chia seed pudding
ginger pumpkin kefir cocktail
and of course
Keep these desserts in the freezer or refrigerator for a nice cold treat to cool you down.
Sometimes we hate highlighting old recipes since our photography was not the best back then…but we feel they are still good recipes worth sharing 🙂
*side note – there will be no Purely Talk today. We are taking the day off. We will get back to our normal schedule next week. Thanks for understanding.
Twins Question: What is your favorite summer time treat to cool you down? Do you have a red, white and blue inspired recipe? Is there a recipe you would like us to create that is red, white and blue themed?
till next time,
