Good morning friends!!
First we wanted to say that we are thinking of all those in Oklahoma. We have been watching the news and seeing all the pictures is truly mind blowing. And heart breaking. Praying for everyone.
When moments like this happen we start to wonder about everything. Are we living today to the fullest? Are we living life like it might be the last day? Are we holding on for those right moments to happen before we do something we want to do?
But what if those ‘perfect’ moments never come?
Well we are thinking of these questions ever since hearing about what happened in Oklahoma. Still crazy and sad to hear what happened as we are still in awe of what recently happened in Boston .
Seeing those moments in life that touch so many people on so many different levels….is truly heart breaking.
These are the moments when we need to have hope. And hug your loved ones!
After getting in around midnight from traveling back from Utah we took the morning off from working out and slept instead. Sleep can be just as powerful as exercise. We knew our bodies needed that extra hour of rest.
We both woke up and realized our fridge was pretty empty so decided to make a little trip to Whole Foods for breakfast.

We both enjoyed some coffee along with eggs cooked in ghee, local sausage, bacon, and avocado.
Love moments when we are able to eat foods that make us feel happy.
Still taking in all the amazing samples we got at Blend.
Love looking back at the moments we had this past weekend spending time with friends. Realizing those moments will stay with us forever.
We do not really eat peanut butter, but these Justin’s chocolate pb cups were amazing. Too good to pass up.
Love moments when you get to enjoy a treat that makes you smile.
While at the grocery store we picked up two of our favorite things – avocados and plantains.
Love the moments when you truly get to enjoy the foods that your body loves.
Enjoyed the best lunch later in the day. Plantain chips made in coconut oil served with a nori rolls filled with canned salmon, avocado, shredded carrots and a little nutritional yeast.
Love the moments when you make one of your favorite meals and it makes you feel so satisfied. And warm and cozy.
Dinner was something a little different. We both still felt really full from our lunch (and still felt a little off from traveling and being dehydrated) we felt like a simple shake for dinner. (Michelle enjoyed a cup too just unpictured)

Did something last night for the first time in a really long time. We took baths! But not just any bath – epsom salt bath.
Yep we have read about the health benefits of epsom salt baths before and finally made the time to do it! And we are soooo happy we did. We both took about 30 minutes to relax. And wow – just what our bodies needed!!
Love those moments in life when we you take some extra time to do something for yourself.
We are very grateful for those moments in life that might be small but can make a huge difference.
