Michelle: After two days off from working out,  I moved my body some yesterday. I did 3 rounds of #purelytfitlife workout #6.

I am not sure where I want to be with my fitness, but I am staying positive! Remembering every little things counts.

Lori: I also did #purelyfitlife workout #6 our pyramid workout.  After texting with Michelle in the morning we both decided we felt like that workout. We did not do a great job at planning out our workouts last week. We hope to get better at planning them out to keep us focused.

A quick overview of my eats from Saturday. It was the last day of the expo with raw threads.  I pretty much ate the same thing as the other day – starting off with a  HUGE breakfast, snacked on raw cookies (recipe found here) and a banana at the booth. Early evening I snacked on carrots and tahini, then the raw threads team went out to eat. I enjoyed a margarita with grilled salmon and veggies (tomatoes, mushrooms, and asparagus), and dessert was another chocolate bar.

Love my raw threads boston strong shirt as it stands for some many things! It has been amazing to see so many people come together to help the victims out in Boston. Not just with companies, like raw threads making shirts and donating money to the One Fund, but I have been seeing people organize running events, etc. Truly amazing to see. Very inspiring.

Yesterday I enjoyed pancakes for breakfast. Well okay not really pancakes more like egg- flat cakes haha  😉 As they are not your typical pancake, but I loved them.

I mixed together 3 eggs with 1 scoop perfect fit protein and cooked them in coconut oil. Then I topped them with more coconut oil and 1 large banana. And with two cups of coffee.

Later on I enjoyed a spinach avocado salmon salad.

I wilted 1 large avocado into some raw spinach then mixed in 1 can of salmon plus some brussel sprouts and dulse flakes.

I was still a little full from my lunch that I kept dinner simple – brussel sprouts with more salmon and some raw carrots covered in tahini and coconut oil.  I had 2 heaping tablespoons of tahini 🙂 love that stuff.

And since it was Cinco de Mayo yesterday I enjoyed a margarita.  Lori and I normally mix our tequila with a ginger kombucha but I did not have one so I settle for use regular margarita mix.  It happens.

Later enjoyed some raw cookie balls and not sure how another margarita got there hehe. Hey I was celebrating Jax turning one too!

Overall had a great few days here in Orlando working with Raw Threads. I was able to get a little caught up on my computer work yesterday. Now it is time for me to travel back home.

Quick Saturday eat highlights. Breakfast was waffles topped with some raspberries, coconut oil, and maple syrup. Enjoyed some starbucks coffee after a morning dog training session with Jax. Lunch was scallops, brussel sprouts, sauerkraut, carrots, handful of greens, and coconut oil. Snack was perfect fit protein with coconut oil, cacao nibs, and bee pollen.  Dinner was a grass-fed burger, handful of greens, red peppers, some turnips and parsnips, with 1/4 avocado and coconut oil. And dessert was chocolate chia seed pudding with a little coconut oil mixed in with stevia.  Everything was sooo good.

After yummy waffles on Saturday I knew I wanted something similar. I decided on pancakes (I did want Michelle mentioned above with hers). Again I topped them with raspberries and some coconut oil. Along with some coffee.

Lunch was a little bit of white rice with a can tuna, half avocado, brussel sprouts, coconut oil, and nutritional yeast.


Made myself a margarita (enjoyed 2 drinks) to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and Jax’s 1st birthday!

Dinner was salmon with sauteed kale, zucchini, avocado, coconut oil, and sauerkraut. I ended up adding some black lava sea salt.

Then it was time for the birthday boy to eat — Jax enjoyed some raw meat for dinner (got from US Wellness Meats) before he ate his little birthday cake.

I made Jax a really simple birthday cake and once I was done making it I realized I forgot a birthday candle! Bad mom! Well, to make up for it Gary and I did sing happy birthday to Jax. The cake was just an egg, peanut butter and a little coconut oil. Topped with more peanut butter. It was gone fast! He loves his peanut butter.

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo a day early on Saturday, celebrated my great uncle’s 95th birthday yesterday and I ran a last minute 5k race (taking 2nd in my age group!) yesterday morning. Can’t complain about my weekend! 🙂

Looks like yummy eats, twinnies (I can say that because I”m a twin :)) Lori-were you using canned Salmon, because it looks shredded? I’m just asking because I always see it at Trader Joes but it reminds me of spam or something, I love cooking salmon but it’s not always convenient. Let me know if you have tried it and what you think:)

PS your burpess workout is INSANITY…love/hate relationship

We use have a mix of canned salmon and frozen salmon, we like both – canned salmon because it is quick and easy to make a meal with. We use Trader Joes brand and Wild Planets brand for it.

I always grew up with cats and cats definitely don’t like birthday attention. But, one of my roommates now has a little doggie, and we celebrate her birthday! So cute :).

Where do you get your Dulse from? I think you use the Maine brand. What do you think of the Dulse from Mountain Rose Herbs? I question the quality due to the price difference.

We have had Mountain rose herbs before and thought they were pretty good. We do like the Maine Coast dulse flakes brand better

I notice that Perfect Fit Protein is your go-to protein powder.
Could you give me a comparison of it’s taste? Is it better than Heartland’s Brown Rice protein powder (if you’ve tried it, that is)? Is it better than Sun Warrior? Does it taste chalky???!!
