Happy Good Friday everyone!!
We both did our 12 minute full body #plankworkout followed by our strong sexy arm workout.
All smiles as we are grateful everyday to workout!
All smiles as each day we are getting stronger!
Michelle’s recap:
Post workout GREEN juice!
Followed by coffee and banana.
Next meal was my usual egg salad that I added in some juice pulp with nutritional yeast, sardines, and coconut oil, pretty much the same as yesterday.
Some days you just need a warm chocolate chip cookie!
Recipe up later!
Next up was salmon salad with zucchini and coconut oil.
Then it was play yoga time with my niece!
FUN TIMES!
Dinner was broccoli, rutabaga, and grass-fed burger topped with lots of coconut oil.
I happily made a mess in the kitchen late last night for Easter celebration these next few days. Cannot wait to eat these!
Make sure you get your copy for some delicious gluten-free egg-free recipes!
Made me a dessert cake (put cocoa in it) to hold me back from eating all the brownies and carrot cakes.
Topped my cake with goat yogurt with a side of more goat yogurt that I mixed in gelatin, probiotic and l-glutamine.
Lori:
Green juice after my morning workout. Even though I love my ginger, I ended up putting a little too much fresh ginger in. Oops.
Later it was sautéed kale, sweet potatoes, eggs, nutritional yeast time. Also added a little bit of leftover pulp to the egg mixture.
Later it was a basic salad of lettuce, cauliflower, turnips and grass-fed ground beef with coconut oil.
Made the perfect marshmallows!
Not sure what I did differently but they came out the best I have ever made! So excited to eat them these next few days.
I also made my breakfast for the morning as Gary and I are headed to his parents house for the weekend. His nephew is turning 1, so we’re going to celebrate his birthday. I had food in the house that I wanted to use up before leaving. So making my breakfast came to mind as a great way to use up some food.
I knew I would want something dessert-like when I travel, so made our soft coconut flour grain-free egg-free chocolate chip cookies. Raw cookie dough anyone? So good.
Of course I had to sample a few while hot out of the oven.
Also made up a variety of protein egg muffins for me to enjoy while traveling. I did a little bit of everything, some where similar our protein english muffin recipes too. One chocolate one, one mesquite one, one coconut flour and sweet potato one, and a plain perfect fit protein one. Basically I just mixed ingredients together in hopes it would come out 😉
I had one egg left, so I decided to make me a little chocolate cake muffin for the car ride. This one was really easy – just did one whole egg, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, 1 tbsp coconut flour, 1 tbsp perfect fit protein, stevia, and a little baking soda and water.
Finally got all my food packed and things ready to go.
I enjoyed my dinner in the car. Sautéed kale in coconut oil, leftover mahi mahi, broccoli and half avocado. A little messy eating in the car but still delicious. Not sure what the people driving next to us thought, haha. Could only imagine.
We made it to Gary’s house late. It is going to be chilly these next few days – wishing for Spring!!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend!!
be back later with a yummy simple chocolate chip cookie recipe

Are the brownies and carrot cake grain-free? If not, can you make them grain-free?

Everything looks yummy! Can’t wait for the cookie recipe!
I love the inspirational fitness quotes you always share with your posts! They really do help me to be more positive. Also, I wanted to tell you that I made one of your protein English muffins yesterday, and it was so tasty and satisfying! Instead of protein powder, I used chickpea flour, which is relatively high in protein, and it turned out great. Thanks for the recipe idea, girls!
I always always make the protein muffins when I travel. Perfect travel food 🙂
Also, what are the little specs on the marshmallows? Just curious!
I have to work on making those, getting the clear jello in the bottom. I’ll get there!
Looks like you will be well-fed! I love it when prep all comes together like that! Then when you get to your destination, you can just enjoy the time!!
Happy Easter Michelle and Lori! Always look forward to your posts.
Getting a chance to catch up on your blog. Mmmm such great eats!!! I want an endless supply of those cookies and marshmallows!!! xo
