100 Burpee time challenge

Are you ready for some burpee love?

This is a bodyweight workout you can do at home for cardio. Burpees are a great move for building strength and burning fat.

We all have that love/hate relationship with some form of exercise. And though we hate our burpees… we do love them more.

We created this workout last week.

We wanted a workout that was

  • Short.
  • Full body.
  • To-the-point.
  • And kick our butts.

And this 100 burpee challenge is just that!

Here is our 3rd Purely Fit FREE workout for you guys. Make sure you subscribe to our channel.

It is a time challenge, so you are aiming to complete the 100 burpees as fast as you can. There are 4 different style burpees in this workout which you will be doing 25 reps of each one. Giving a total of 100 burpees. At the end you should be smiling at yourself for a job well done!

Burpees are hard but so great for your entire body. A mix of strength and cardio.

Absolutely loathe burpees. LOL. “insane in the membrane”. Nice challenge. One I will watch you do. 😉 Okay…. maybe I will belt out 25-40 of them. Ouch.

Ohh boy, I did this as a CrossFit WOD once, and it actually made me come to terms with burpees. I had to do the strict touch your chest to the ground jump up and get back down ones, no variation and my arms BURNED. However after that, I could never complain about having to do 20 or 40 at a time. This is a great challenge!

I have a love/hate relationship with them too! Hate them while I’m doing them, love them afterwards 🙂 Great video! I liked it on youtube! When I do the kicks, should I squeeze my butt/thighs or just kick?

you girls are amazing. i have a love hate relationship with burpees, too, but after watching the video, i am *kind of* excited to do it tomorrow morning. i LOVE the new workouts each week. i integrate them all into my morning routine 😉

Ladies – do you realize that you just competed 75 push-ups…pretty much in a row? That is amazing!! I can’t wait to try this/I am terrified. I warmed up and cooled down with your first 10 minute ab workout (with some legs in between) and I was sore for D A Y S!!!

It really is a pleasure… whenever I’m not in the mood or start making excuses, I remind myself I’m alive and able-bodied so get to it. Always feel better after. 😉 Doing what works for us is so, so, SO important.
