Yesterday, we felt like we were still living in a big blur. Having 3 days of non-stop action was hitting us. So Monday we took it easy. We knew that tomorrow we get another chance to get it right.
We are both trying to get back into our normal routine and our normal eats again. We really enjoyed ourselves at Disney and are now excited to get back. We took yesterday off from working out and just took it easy again.
I (Lori) had a morning flight heading back to NC yesterday morning so Michelle got up early with me to enjoy some coffee and food before leaving for the airport. We chatted about our projects that we want to do – mainly dealing with my personal training and more cookbook ideas. Anxious to get all our thoughts and ideas finalized to get moving on the projects.
Upon arriving back in Charlotte I knew I had nothing in the house to eat so I quickly stopped by Whole Foods to grab some eggs, bacon and a few other vegetables. I made myself 2 whole eggs with some bacon and brussel sprouts, topped with coconut oil.
Also made myself a little bit more coffee to help wake me up some from traveling to get things done around the house.
To be honest I had no motivation to do anything. Just wanted to play with Jax and relax all day. But I did my best to do some work. I still felt like I was in a big blur. My body and mind didn’t know what to do.
Snacked on some truffles that Michelle made for us to enjoy. So good.
Late afternoon got a little hungry so made another egg with a few more brussel sprouts. I still have not really gone to the store to get more food hehe.
Started to get things ready for dinner and Jax took his normal spot while I cooked.
Dinner was more lettuce (been craving greens), roasted turnips, half a can of sardines and salmon. Topped with olive oil and dulse flakes.
Snacked on a few more truffles to end my night.
After dropping Lori off at the airport I came back to my sister’s house to make eggs and bacon.
I did some computer work before making up more food to eat.
I made myself another egg with brussel sprouts and coconut oil. Also ate a chocolate truffle.
I did some work with Raw Threads before making myself some dinner.
Dinner was some carrots, lettuce and last bit of ground lamb/turkey mix topped with coconut oil.
Dessert was chocolate truffles from our cookbook.
Our thoughts of our day:
We both forgot to take any pills yesterday. We hope to get back on track today. Sometimes while traveling it is hard to always remember everything, but we did feel a little difference from not taking our pills to help with digestion and such. As both of us are still living in a big blur it feels like we are slowly getting back into our swing of things. Our water intake over the past few days has not been good at all. And for our bowel movements, well they were very small but that is to be expected. We know we will get back to getting our digestive health back to order here soon.
Remember every day is a new day! A new day to start all over. A new day to try something new. A new day to finish a project you have been working on. A new day to do whatever you need to do 🙂
