Since we are keeping track of our workouts again, we are going to be calling our workout recaps – purely fitness under our fitness category making it easy for you to search for these posts.

And that way for those that like to follow along our fitness journey can keep following. And for those that do not care about workouts can skip over.

When we actually share a workout we will put that under our workout category. Hopefully making it easier on everyone to find what they are looking for.


Pre-workout meal was eggs, lettuce, broccoli covered in coconut oil along with black coffee. Plus enjoyed a little google hangout with the sis.

Tuesday: Arm Workout – we did this one from the Tone it Up girls. We used 8lb weights, hoping to increase it to 10lbs soon. In addition, we of course started our workouts with our plank workout for 5 minutes. Followed by our challenge again for doing pull-ups off our equalizer.

Wednesday: new 8 minute plank workout (working on a video for it) followed by two Tara Stiles yoga videos – get strong all over yoga and the after work wind down yoga.

Followed by 2 sets of 10 reps of pull-ups and push ups —> slowing getting our strength back and 25 reps full ab v-ups

Felt amazing to slow down the mind and body for those few minutes.  Loved how these yoga videos were short, perfect for our busy schedules!  It has been awhile since we did some yoga.

Thursday: Zwow #31 timed workout.   3 rounds of 5 different exercises for time. You have to push yourself during workout to get the best maximum results. We were both feeling it in our abs! Warm-up: was 5 minutes of plank and bridge. Cool-down: stretching

Followed by a smoothie to replenish our bodies.

Friday (tomorrow) we plan to do #ZWOW 33. A ten minute workout with our plank workout to warmup! And hopefully some stretching.

The weekend workouts are unknown, probably take it off and do some house chores.

8 min plank?! You girls are insane, but I must be just as crazy because I am inspired to go for it. Video please! I am at 6 min now…I can’t believe it! Why not 8?! haha 🙂 Your lunch looked yummy, too! I had a twins inspired lunch that is a new favorite…cabbage, carrots, eggs, spices, with coconut oil…amazing! Have a good day!

I am so impressed with your planks. I’ve been making sure to do them everyday, too. Sometimes Hayden climbs on my back (not by my request, though. Ha ha), which makes them more difficult.
