Dairy-free sugar-free pumpkin pie mousse recipe made from pumpkin, coconut butter and coconut milk. A rich yet light dessert to enjoy this fall. Made in just 5 minutes.
At our Thanksgiving meal, we enjoyed a lovely pumpkin pie mousse for our dessert, instead of making our traditional pumpkin pie recipe. We felt like something more light and different.
We began thinking of what to do. Here is what we came up with we think you will like it.

This looks sooooooo good. I LOVE pumpkin. This one looks fluffy and creamy and needs to be at my house. Now. 🙂 What was that chocolate sauce you used over the top?
Lori – the chocolate sauce is just about 1/4 cup coconut oil, 1/3 cup cacoa, and some stevia to taste. But you could use any chocolate sauce 🙂
Oh my WORD this looks delicious. I thought I was over pumpkin flavored things for the year, but I’m positively drooling over this! So beautiful!
Aww thanks Gabriela 🙂 We are still loving pumpkin at the moment LOL
mmmmm pumpkin! nomnomnomnom 🙂
Just caught up on 2 weeks of your posts – and now im starving! Such delicious looking treats. Spent my Thanksgiving in Paris, and thanks to your restaurant recs I ate yummy (vegan) food the whole trip! (and a crazy amount of dark chocolate…of course…)
Carrie, so jealous you got to be in Paris, so glad my food recs worked out for you!!! HUGS
I love pumpkin and coconut milk together!! I never called mine ‘mousse’ since mine looks just like a ‘mush’ haha, but it is tasty nonetheless! 😉
YUM! This looks amazing ladies. As you probably know, I LOVE pumpkin but I thought this recipe was going to need an ice cream maker for some reason (maybe the little scoops). I was happy to find you can make it with the Vitamix!
Brittany we use ice cream scoopers a lot, we love the little ball shapes they make 😉
That looks so good! Wonderful new way to use pumpkin!
Dang. I just ate dessert.
Oh YUM!!! Two of my favourite things – coconut milk and pumpkin. I have to try this!!
PS I’m head over heels in love with avocado pudding too 🙂
Kate
I actually something like this that nearly identical! But I usually give it a whirl in the ice cream maker. What ARE we gonna do when pumpkin season is over???
I have yet to ever try pumpkin ice cream! Coconut milk is really the best. Does it need to be the canned full-fat or is the carton kind ok?
Bitt I would think either one would be fine. We used the full fat canned kind.
These mousse pictures look almost like ice-cream…perhaps a pumpkin ice-cream could be the next incarnation you girls get up to. Love the presentation too! You girls always make me hungry 😉
Oooh! So decadent! Thanks for posting this. And seriously? You can’t go wrong with pumpkin. 😉
Heidi, no you can never go wrong with pumpkin 😉 HUGS
Yum Ladies!!! I’m still not over my pumpkin obsession so this is a MUST try!! You always make everything look so beautiful, some how mine never looks as good as yours 🙂 xoxo

I’m gonna need to make this recipe soon! I love all the pumpkin recipes that come out in the Fall, makes me feel warm and cozy. : )
This looks wonderful! I definitely want to give this a try.
How many does this serve? Can you make it with fresh pumpkin? If so, how much?
[…] Hummus (subscribe to my site here and receive my recipe) and veggies, fruit, leftovers, green smoothies, toasted Ezekiel Bread with coconut oil […]
[…] pumpkin pie fudge taste similar to our pumpkin pie mousse that we fell in love with last […]
I was wondering if you put this in the freezer if it will be like an ice cream?
not sure we haven’t tried it frozen, it might
