When you don’t feel your best, dealing with some form of sickness or skin issues like we did it can be really hard to stay positive and happy.  There are all types of sicknesses out there from physical to mental. Our history is dealing with gut dysbiosis, digestive issues like bloating and constipation, candida, acne, PCOS, imbalanced hormones, eczema, autoimmune, depression to some a few.  We get it.  It’s hard to see yourself healed when things just seem so bad and might have been bad for a while now.  Over the years, we’ve learned a few things that we know will really help you shift your story around being sick instead of healthy.

We asked on Instagram what would our #ptsisters what to know from us or learn from us and Erika messaged us and asked – How to stay positive with sickness.

We love receiving questions from our tribe and this is a great question! This sparked so much passion in us of where we had so much we wanted to say from our hearts. We loved creating this video for you as we know first hand how hard it is to stay positive when your health is not where you want it.

Lori shared her acne journey as well as her healing diastasis journey twice. I, Michelle, shared my eczema healing journey. And we both have always been open to sharing about our health/gut issues.  We also shared with your about missing periods, our hormones and PCOS.

It is easy to stay positive with everything in your life is going good, right?

And when your health or skin isn’t doing good it is VERY hard to stay positive because you are either in pain or just feel miserable.

BUT this is the most important time to be positive. This is when faith and surrender to what’s going on come into play. Give thanks to God even though you wished things were different. Trust it is happening for a reason and it will be better soon.  You have to love yourself even if you don’t like what you see or how you feel.

How to stay positive with Health And Skin Issues

Please share this video with your friends that are struggling to stay positive with their health.

We hope the video has served you.

As we said in the video we are not doctors and are not giving medical advice. We are sharing what we learned and how we healed.

These 5 things are the very KEY ingredients to why we healed. It was reconnected with God more and our spirituality is when is health, and overall happiness, improved. Yes, there were other steps we did from improving our gut health, certain supplements helped as well as our overall lifestyle changed.

We are big believers you need BOTH a strong positive mindset mixed in with a protocol to heal…anything! Yes, of course, there are some health conditions that are a lot more serious than others, but we feel we are all worthy and deserving to feel our best. It’s not about who has it the worst, but how can we all help each through the current battle we are facing.

5 Ways To Stay Positive with health and skin issues (Acne, Eczema, Autoimmune Issues) It is easy to stay positive with everything in your life is going good, right? And when your health or skin isn't doing good it is VERY hard to stay positive because you are either in pain or just feel miserable. In this video we share how we healed our health and skin issues. We hope this video serves you in overcoming your illness.

It can be very challenging to maintain a positive attitude and a measure of faith when you are in the midst of difficult time, but we hope our 5 tips help you.

One thing we forgot to mention in the video when we felt overwhelmed we found comfort in saying: This too shall pass.

5 ways to stay positive when you’re sick (dealing with acne, eczema, autoimmune issues)

1 – Where’s your attention? What are you focusing on consciously and subconsciously?  Affirmations are great for helping you state positive things. *The book mentioned was The Power of the Subconscious mind.

2 – Be grateful for your sickness. Accept it. Make peace with it as this opens the doors to healing. Realize you’re going through it for a reason.

3- Switch your focus. Find activities to change your focus to be on things that bring you more joy.

4 -Level of Believability. How strongly do you believe in yourself and what you are doing? Rate yourself from 1 – 10, with 1 being I have no belief and 10 being like HECK YES I believe. Be honest with yourself without judging yourself, as judging ourselves only puts us further away from reaching our desired outcome.

5 -Visualize. You know we are big fans of this to “see” yourself healed or reaching what you want.

We hope you enjoyed our positive quotes at the end of the video as they really helped us stay positive.

prayer for healing

We said this prayer just about every day.

Remember if things truly feel like nothing is going right for you, don’t be afraid to seek help. Or look at your life, with compassion, to see where changes need to be made. As for us we needed help and explored other things and started to make changes from how we worked out to our diet and creating more of a spiritual practice.
