Boundaries are important for self-love. A piece of loving ourselves we were avoiding.
Fear of what others would think. Didn’t want any conflict. Fear of being seen as selfish. Didn’t think we really need them.
We were people-pleasers so had a hard time saying no. This is something we are letting go and standing up to our values. We see how having boundaries is only going to improve our lives. We set the standards for how we should be treated.
We all do. It’s okay to say no. It’s okay to do less.
Boundaries are a way to show yourself you value yourself and loving yourself. They help us improve our self-esteem and energy.
Boundaries actually give you more freedom and a peace of mind.
Tips for gaining more freedom and having healthy relationships by setting boundaries:
1 – Be aware where you have or don’t have boundaries in place. Own it.
2 – Decide what you want and value in life. What will things you or not tolerate in your life?
3 – Share it with others to keep yourself accountable.
Are you ready to set boundaries in your life to improve your overall wellness?
