7 foods we eat every day for glowing skin and feeling our best

by purelytwins

Sharing what foods we eat every day to keep our skin glowing, good health and happiness to feeling our best.

We both suffered from poor digestion and gut health, missing periods, adult acne with Lori getting PCOS and Michelle getting eczema. It took us awhile to get to where we are today but these are the foods we tend to always make sure to have daily because we know they help keep our skin glowing, our hormones happy, keep our digestion on point (no more constipation), able to maintain a healthy weight that works for our bodies, and overall they keep us HAPPY. It’s important to eat foods that truly make you happy and ones you enjoy, so you’re not stressing over food.

We used to be girls who obsessed over everything we ate, always aiming to eat perfectly clean, felt like bad people if we ate chocolate or didn’t have a green smoothie… but NOW we have a more happy balanced mindful approach to food. We know our bodies and what foods fuels it the best.

7 foods we eat every day for our health, glowing skin and happiness

Let’s begin shall we…

Share this video with your girl friends to help us spread our message of learning to find the foods that work for you and not follow some diet.

We don’t binge or restrict ourselves but focus on the foods that work for us. Over the years, we changed our mindset to a more curiosity mindset when it came to what we were eating. We share this to inspire you to start loving food again and yourself through discovering what foods work best for you. Only you know you.

We used to beat ourselves up when we saw what others were eating via social media because our diet didn’t look as perfect as theirs.

So we want to get clear here we are not here to tell you that you need to be eating these foods…only if you know you like them and enjoy them of course then do.

Or maybe you are scared of eating fats like we used to be in fear of them causing you to get fat. We hope this video inspires you to try eating more fats from a curiosity mindset.

How do you guys budget for food? Do you budget weekly or monthly? It seems like you eat most meals together but does your husband join you for dinner? You never really show family meals – does he eat separately and different food?

I’ve noticed you never seem to go over to a friend’s house for dinner – is that bc you are worried you won’t be able to eat their food? I’ve followed you for years and often wondered about this – it also seems like you don’t like your husband or family to cook for you (unless your dad is grilling seafood!). Is that so you have control over your meals more?

Yes we do eat more of our meals together as we work together, so it just makes it easier. Lori’s husband schedule varies day to day, so sometimes he is there for dinner and sometimes not. He doesn’t like to cook which is why I do all the cooking plus I love it. When we go home it’s the same, our family doesn’t like to cook but we do. We don’t have friends here in CA as our friends don’t live, which is why you don’t see us at friends houses here.
