We did some grocery shopping yesterday and are finishing it up today.
Below is what is on our menu to make. Make sure to keep up with us on IG stories (purelytwins) and snapchat (loriandmichelle) to see us in the kitchen and more.
Besides being in the kitchen (something we love to do) we cannot wait to continue on with family traditions. Do you have any family traditions you do every holiday?
2016 Christmas Day Menu
Christmas Breakfast Menu:
Lots of coffee.
We plan to make both breakfast recipes on Christmas eve and heat up Christmas morning.
Main Christmas Lunch/Dinner Menu – We are having ours as a late lunch around the kids naps!
Turkey – roasted in the oven
Roasted sweet potato fries – cooked in the oven
Store bought cranberries and gravy.
Red wine – we have our favorite J. Lohr – Cabernet
As you can see not your average Christmas dinner menu. We wanted something different.
Christmas Desserts:
Our Mom’s pumpkin pie recipe (using a store bought crust)
Pumpkin s’mores fudge (from our Never too old for S’mores cookbook)
Christmas sugar cookies (for Santa!)
What are you serving for your Christmas meal?
Wishing you and your family all the love and happiness this Christmas and New Year!
Thank you for being part of our family.
Merry Christmas!
xoxo

Looks so good!
Thank you!
Looks delicious! We are doing roasted chicken and steak for Christmas Day. Not our traditional meal but traveling and don’t want large amount of leftovers. I made a grain free pumpkin pie and cut out cookies today with my kids.
Have a Merry christmas! Happy first Christmas to Lyla!
