What an incredible weekend. Where do I begin…
I was away for 3 days down in LA at The Entrepreneur Edge LIVE with Joanna Turner.
It was held at the Line Hotel.
The hotel was pretty cool. So different too which I loved.
Check out my room…pretty sweet right?!? I loved the big window and being able to see the city.
I felt like a queen. It. Was. Fabulous.
I enjoyed breakfast at the Commissary restaurant that was located in the Line hotel (and I enjoyed dinner there with a friend too).
The food and coffee were delicious.
I loved the atmosphere of this green house inspired restaurant. And loved their cute coffee mugs.
There are so many things I could talk about of what I experienced at this event and really just overall being a female entrepreneurial. But that would create for a really long blog post.
So, I will probably talk about certain aspects over time as it’s a lot to take in for myself.
I am still trying to process all the information I learned and feel it out.
All fascinating and life-changing stuff. Sometimes when we get a wealth of information it can be a mental overload. I want to make sure I process everything.
I chatted with Lori about the entire thing last night.
We love talking about this kind of stuff and rediscovering more of our inner-selves to continue to create the life we desire and help others the best way we can.
Joanna welcoming everyone! Love her.
She had some cool things for all of us like jewelry and goodies from Bulletproof coffee! Love my bulletproof!
The first evening of the event there was a cocktail hour, which was super fun. Love the LA weather.
I also did something that I never done before… I got my first tarot card reading!!
Which I will have to share about at another time if you’re interested. Another life-changing moment for me.
I still couldn’t believe I was there. I was DOING this. I would watch other entrepreneurs attending events like this and never thought it was for me. Boy was I wrong!
I was totally out of my comfort zone.
But I’ve grown so much from attending this amazing event, which is why it’s so important to push yourself. Do things that scare you (push you outside your comfort zone) because that is when THINGS HAPPEN.
If you keep doing the same things you’ll never change. You deserve better. You are worth having these opportunities too.
Loved meeting Keira! She was so down-to-earth and real. I’m so excited for our friendship to grow as both of our businesses grow.
We hit it off right away. We had so much in common.
I met so many wonderful female entrepreneurs at this event. I loved all connections I made. And I realized I wouldn’t have gotten the chance to meet and get to know these amazing women if I didn’t go to this event. If I didn’t push myself outside my comfort zone and do something that totally scared me. It helped me to realize that I am a strong woman and that I deserved to be in that room.
Being in a room that was filled with women who struggle with similar things and want to make BIG changes in the world makes all the difference.
This was one of the reasons I went because sometimes being an entrepreneur can be lonely. You feel like no one understands, but they do. I realized Lori and I aren’t alone on our journey of entrepreneurship.
The speakers at the event were amazing. I was filled with so much emotion when listening to each speaker talk. I could resonate with so many of them.
I loved the panel on success and spirituality. A topic that we talk about in our Stop Obsessing Start Living program and Lori and I are going to continue these kinds of topics inside our Purely Fit Life club as they are so important.
You can be a good person and have a thriving business. But it’s not all about the money but more with being in aligned with who you are as a person. What you value. What your mission is. How you want to serve others in a big way.
Lori and I wake up every day and ask God, “How can we help more people? Who do we need to serve today? What do we need to do or say?”
I noticed some common themes throughout the event from what the other coaches talked about and from chatting with my fellow female entrepreneurs.
The common fears and doubts were:
- Fear of success
- Fear of failure
- Worrying about what others think of you
- Worried about what family and friends will think if you are successful
So many of us are playing negative thoughts over and over in our heads. Keeping us playing small and we all want to go big. All of us want to go BIG so we can help and empower even more people.
Together the energy in the room was strong and powerful. I loved it. I was so moved. By the end of event we all gave ourselves permission to let all that stuff go and OWN our POWER.
Other common themes were:
- Everyone becoming more comfortable with owning their power.
- Finding themselves- reconnecting with spirit. Looking within and listening to their own intuition.
- See they are worthy. That we are all worthy!
- Not waiting anymore but do it. Do it now. Take action. Push through the fear.
It was so refreshing to be in a room of women that are passionate and spiritual wanting to change the world but we all had fears and doubts holding us back.
It was empowering to see everyone discover their own power, discover what lights them up and help each other do it (encourage each other go after it). To see them succeed and flourish.
No energy of competing. But pure love and support.
I didn’t get to meet every lady there but to those that I did connect with I loved.
I am so glad I went even though I was SOOOOOO SCARED!
I went alone. NOT KNOWING A SOUL.
If you follow me on snapchat you would have seen be shaking on the first day. I was so nervous.
But I left each day excited, inspired, safe and supported…all from women I just met. #prettyincredible
I am so grateful for this opportunity and for Joanna putting it together. I know how hard and stressful it can be to put something like this together.
There were a lot of tears at the event for us all. We all experienced many “Ah ha” moments and breakthroughs.
During the car ride back home I cried even more. Good tears. Forgiveness tears. Grateful tears. Happy tears.
I am so proud of myself that I did this.
I am strong and can do anything.
I share this with you because I want YOU to know you are too. You are stronger than you think!
Don’t be afraid to try new things. Don’t be afraid of owning your self-worth and take back your power.
