Self-love will help you to develop greater self-confidence to just be your authentic self

Self-love is so important to create the life you desire.

To us self-love is slowing down and reconnecting with ourselves at a deeper level.

Just breathe where you are right now. Drop expectations. Find a few quiet moments to yourself. Let yourself be.  Slow down and notice. Who are you and what do you need today to make you feel happy?

Self-love is celebrating life every single day. All aspects of life.

It’s more than beauty. More than your appearance. More than your diet. More than how much money you make.

Everything starts with self-love.  It’s the basis for happiness and success.

It’s hard to do because there are parts that are messy but it’s such an important part of life.

We used to be at war with ourselves.

Constantly thinking we were broken and needed fixing. So we turned to exercise and diet to help make us feel in control. We based our happiness upon what others said and did instead of looking within us. When we both hit rock bottom with our health and skin we made a deep commitment to ourselves to change.

We started our self-love journey and never looked back. It completely transformed our lives.

Why is self-love so hard? 

For years we hated ourselves.  We are all our own worst enemies. It’s hard to start liking that person.

But it is possible. You have to believe it is.

Do what makes you feel good. Do what makes you happy. It’s that simple.

What is self love? Why it is an important part of your life. You are worthy of great things. Be proud of who you are. Self love is about rediscovering who you are. It's not selfish but necessary to create a fuller life. Stop doubting yourself. Every time you criticize yourself is a special growth moment in your life thrown away. Let's change that!

It’s hard to keep a positive mindset and be kind to ourselves. It takes effort and awareness to see the good in life. Not fun stuff.

When you think about it, happiness requires inner strength and mindfulness.

You need to be able to generate your own self-esteem, rather than relying on others. Feeling good about yourself makes you mentally strong, physically healthy and enables you to take the risks that you need to take in order to create the life you’ve always wanted! – Gala Darling

Self-love is a daily practice. It’s not about being perfect.

Important thing to remember is that you have to believe you are in control of your life. You have to believe you have the power to change your life any time you want. 

When you take time for self-love in your daily life it will empower you to make changes in your life and body that will create more happiness.

When you are happy you are healthy.

We are big believers in the law of attraction. When you focus on something it expands. Like attracts like.

This mindset shift was life changing as we noticed with our past experiences we constantly focused on the negative things happening or what we didn’t like about our bodies and it only to bring us more of that.

The more you focus on good things, the more good things will come your way.

This is something we discuss a lot with our clients. It comes back to your vibrations. When you are happy you are vibrating at a higher frequency which brings more good things to you.

Self-love can help you do that. Self-love can help you with being happy.

That’s pretty darn powerful, isn’t?

What we want you to do:

  • Focus on spending time getting to know you. Reconnect with yourself at a deeper level every day.
  • Focus on what you do like about your body and life.
  • Take small action steps to change the things you can change that you don’t like.
