Highlights from our week: 

The best peanut butter cookie.

Coffee and peanut butter cookies. This has been consumed a lot this week.

The best healthy gluten-free paleo and vegan biscotti

As well as biscotti. These are sooooo good, we know we say that all the time but it’s true.

The weather here has been amazing. Each day it gets a little warmer.

Madison loves being outside and so do we.


Even baby M #2 is enjoying it.

Crazy to think I am half way through this pregnancy.

We cannot wait to dive deep into #Askgaryvee book by Gary Vaynerchuk about business and social media. As entrepreneurs we have a lot of people we look up to and learn from and Gary is one.

Excited twins

SO HAPPY!! Not only for happy cup (aka coffee) but also for having over 300 women sign up for our FREE video trainings!!! We cannot wait to help these ladies break through old beliefs, form a better relationship with and rediscover their self worth!!

Rhythm kale chips

New kale chip we are enjoying. We love it as they use tahini as the base and we LOVE tahini.

Juice bar in charlotte NC

Found a new Juice Bar here in Charlotte. We have to laugh about this is because we are leaving Charlotte so nothing like finding this when we are leaving.

The juice was awesome too! We shared about it all on snapchat – loriandmichelle

Going down slide at playground

Found a new park to play at with Madison!! She had so much fun going down the slides as there were a few different styles.

Plantain waffles.

Green Plantain waffles with peanut butter and sea salt. The best.

Back in the day we used to love having rice cakes with peanut butter and sea salt now we enjoy this. And in our opinion this is so much better!!

Playing at the Little Gym

Yesterday we spend the morning playing at the Little Gym. Madison had so much fun.

She loves going upside down!!!

  3. I see a recipe for plantain waffles, and it looks epic… But where do you get the ‘green’ part? Kale or some such?

    1. we don’t have an exact recipe for the green waffles, all we do is take our recipe of our plantain bread or waffles and add in a handful of any green to the blender.
