Now tahini is not just for hummus or savory foods. Nope.

You’ve seen us use it in some sweet recipes like our strawberry chocolate tahini melt,  blueberry streusel cakes and mini baked pancakes.

There are several reasons why we love tahini. For starters it is a great replacement for nut butter if you have a nut allergy or don’t want to always use nut butters.

It’s made from ground sesame seeds and is high in potassium, iron, calcium, protein, vitamin E and lots of B vitamins. Tahini, with its creamy, earthy, nutty flavor, is just as delicious in sweet dishes as it is in savory ones.
