It snowed (okay snow flurries) for about 10 minutes yesterday. Totally random. Then it cleared up to be a pretty nice day. North Carolina has some weird weather. We are already dreaming of warm sunny weather.
What else can you do on rainy days… work the butt! haha Actually yesterday was our rest day so we enjoyed our day resting, eating, playing, planning our week ahead and grocery shopping. It was a wonderful weekend. Just the way we like it. We also got to film some new recipes that we can’t wait to share.

Since this is a bodyweight workout do as many reps that feel good to you. You want to really feel the muscle fatigue.
We did 20 reps in the video. Do 1-3 rounds.
We love working our butts. It is one body part that we don’t always focus on but we are trying to do more.
Having a firm, toned butt is important.
The glutes are our largest muscle group, and virtually every movement carried out by the lower body requires their activation. Having a firm butt can help with banishing lower back pain. If you are pregnant having a strong butt can make pregnancy and labor a little easier.
These butt moves will lift and strengthen your butt –> glute muscles.
We love doing single leg bridge pulses. We always feel the burn.
There are a tone of great moves to work your butt that use weights or some form of squatting.
We love doing those too, but sometimes it is nice to burn out the butt with just your bodyweight. Your own bodyweight can be a great tool.
