Nothing beats this little face.
Hope she brings a smile to your face like she does ours everyday.

We were busy this week with recipe testing. As we have mentioned before we are updating our purely classic recipes cookbook with new grain-free flours! Almost done!
Chocolate chip cookies made with plantain flour.
Donuts made with tiger nut flour.
Cinnamon raisin scones made with chestnut flour.
In the midst of all the baking this week there was lots of play time.
We even enjoyed some days outside!
The weather has been great here…most days.
Ended the week with one of our favorites from our cookbook carrot cake!!
Their bond is starting to form. #love
Michelle has been enjoying plantains this week!! Topped with tahini of course, one of our favorite ways to eat plantains is to stuff them with goodies.
As she mentioned in this video she had been avoiding them for many many months and now with her skin doing better it was time to try foods again. So far so good!
Get ready purely fit sisters a new workout video coming next week to the club.
We wore our lift heavy things tanks as we worked hard with our 20 minute kettlebelll workout.

Hi Lori and Michelle,
First off, thank you for such a great blog! As someone who’s been dealing with undiagnosed stomach/intestinal issues for over a decade (so frustrating), it’s been really great to have your blog as a resource for new ideas and support.
I was wondering if you could address how you keep a food/symptom journal. I’ve started and stopped journaling about my gut issues numerous times but always get overwhelmed. Because I have numerous issues that I THINK stem from my gut (hormonal stuff, a little bit of anxiety/depression, etc.) it’s hard to keep straight what may be helping one thing but not another. It’s also hard to keep all of the food straight, i.e.: My stomach feels better today, is that because of the banana I ate yesterday afternoon? Or is the oatmeal I’ve had for breakfast for the past week helping? Or is it just a crazy fluke and will be back to hurting again tomorrow?
It sounds like you’ve had a lot of success keeping track of your food and your symptoms, so any pointers about what you focus on, whether certain journaling methods have made the process easier for you, even how you format your journal would be so appreciated.
Thanks again for providing such a great blog!
Sara
